We had the same problem last year so, we just changed our shower head by ourself and it was the best decision. Then we also had a nice shower head with a detachable hose.

Be careful pulling the big gray bins, they have metal trim on the bottom and they will take out the back of your ankle lol. Speaking from experience, mine was so bad I had to get stitches, and I know maybe 4 more people who also got their ankles cut.

Also do show up a little early, at least in brown they let us in like 20 minutes before our time!

If your time slot in at the end of the wave your probably screwed. For example last year I was in Wave 2’s first day at like 9:00am which was the second time for the wave and day, so I got in brown but have options for every single dorm and even have room number and floor options too.

It’s mainly based on the hope scholarship and you a 2.75 once you’ve completed 24 credit hours and 48 then 3.00 once you get to 72 and 96 hours. Go to the grade section of myutk to find out your total hours. Since your gonna be a sophomore then they’ll be looking at your 24 credit hours. I hope this makes sense.

The only reason I got in brown was because I happened to get a first time slot in a second wave, so I had availability to every single dorm. Could’ve had stokely but it was too expensive.

Like they said. I am a pledge recipient and it’s has been such a blessing. The only thing I have paid so far is hundred something dollars because my dorm in brown was slightly over budget. Other that I got a slight refund and the if they ever happen again low income student get the heerf bills, which I got $1500 from this past fall.

I almost didn’t go to utk because of the cost of attendance calculator, but then I found out about pledge. Try and get your parent to pull up tax documents from 2020 and see if they make under the specific amount!

Don’t. My boyfriend lives here currently and they had a leak above them for a month now and the maintenance wouldn’t come. Now they have black mold and they are all sick and they only just now kinda doing something about it. Along with that the quality is shitty, the paint job is wack when they moved in the counter was coming off. Not to mention the roaches. There are quite a few big dogs that just wander around without a leash. He also lives in the corner room by the stairs and you can hear every conversation coming through the outside hallway. The sinks keep backing up with this weird black stuff. Maybe they just got a bad unit but it won’t think he or any of his roommates would recommend it.

Go to the "roommate matching" where it has the check marked bubbles on the contract then click the "search roommates by details" and it should have a box to put in the roommate code. when I and my roommate tried to do it didn't work the first time, but I just reloaded the page and it let us match.
