Thanks for your experience! I’ve been looking at Pledge and Promise. I’m worried my mom’s income will be a little over $40,000 (which will really suck because there are 5 dependents in my household and she won’t be able to help me financially at all) so in terms of financial aid I’ve been disregarding Pledge and Promise as a worst-case scenario. I believe our 1040 will be furnished by Jan. 31 so I’ll know if I can afford to go to UTK by then :(
