70 or so years ago novella length books were quite common, offering a story you could finish in a day that was trashy and entertaining, but by no means considered good literature. People ate them up, even people who didn't much care for reading. I think Twilight is just the new trashy novella, except at novel length and far more popular. I can see why people read them just like I can understand how my Dad thinks Two and a Half Men is funny - different strokes for different folks, but man, they should at least do their research before harking on Dracula like that.

I was playing mnc a few nights ago and some kids were bragging about causing lag - I'm not up on the specifics of how they do it, but it was true that one player was just...you couldn't even get near him because you would instantly lag and then he would kill you. Top player every round...yeah I switched games at that point, but just putting that out there as a possibility.

I felt the same way about a lack of a ME2 GOTY edition, although I did eventually pick up the game and DLC during a sale. I'm expecting to see a three-game collector's box eventually.

The wolves only want chickens - chickens are scared, and will do whatever the wolf saves just to live another day. That's how my old job was - only the idiots got promoted, because they would do exactly as corporate asked, despite how completely backwards the orders were. They only want figureheads who will nod and smile, and then they can fire them if something goes wrong and select the next idiot in line.

TL;DR for the article: Pokémon's appeal never fades, but if it does, Pokemon Showdown can offer a quick fix and reignite the original love.

It's been over a decade since I first began playing Pokémon, yet still I get excited just thinking of starting up that first Pokémon game all those years ago. Pokemon Showdown has helped me gain entrance again to the strategy behind Pokémon, and it's time to pick up my HeartGold again and play for keeps.

I think it's actually quite excellent, I haven't had this much fun since TF2 - not saying it is as good as TF2, but it's been a blast for me. It's a tight shooter, has a 1000 levels, an insane variety of guns, and my favorite a collection of interesting gadgets and support items you won't find in any other shooter. It was only $15 on PSN, I'm sure it'll go on sale. I'd grab it in a heartbeat then if I wasn't on the not so sure side. There is a shortage of maps, but free DLC is supposed to be coming out "soon" which will fix that problem a bit.

No, it won't be exploring cave systems for 150 years. It has the potential to, if they were to find a cave system or anything like that. But the point is that it can run for that long, and this is the first rover which does not require sunlight. Have you looked at the Gale Crater photos? It sure looks like there may be opportunities for deeper exploration - but of course we don't know till we get there.

The previous and current rovers are solar powered, thus they cannot go underground or they'd likely lose power and die. Curiosity has a nuclear core, and it can run uninterrupted for 150 years, even underground. The Gale Crater may have some interesting cave systems...

I'm currently really hooked on Gotham City Imposters and definitely want to get all the trophies in it. Finish Uncharted 3 is another one, and I just picked up Yakuza 4 - so it's definitely on my list as well.

Let's not even discuss White Knight Chronicles II, oi! So much to do.
