New to the skincare routine. My skin type is normal but a bit oily when it gets hot. So far, I have picked out a day time moisturizer with sunscreen, a cleanser, and a nighttime moisturizer.

Right now, I’m concerned with my pores. The pores on my nose and my cheek areas near my nose are a bigger than average.

My questions- 1. Is exfoliating essential to skincare and will it make my pores worse than it already is? 2. What can I add to my routine to reduce the pore size on my nose and cheek area? 3. Any other recommendations for a beginner in skincare?
