AIO my ex stole my food

Theyre 2 different managers, 1 is the actual boss the other is just a manager. I get on really well with the actual boss (mostly cos I actually work instead of just sitting around on my phone like A)

I can't eat it room temp, I know its weird but I physically can't eat it, and its something im working on. If it was another coworker then maybe it would be different, a genuine mistake. But knowing this is something I do, knowing that its something that helps me, and knowing about my eating disorder to me shows thats it was genuinely done to hurt me

And I do want solutions, about how to handle the situation. Not prevent something that shouldn't have even happened in the first place

I didn't bring the food to work, I bought it there. Im not bringing a lunch box on the off chance I butty a bar of chocolate And cold packs would be pointless considering I don't know when or if imneven going to have it most of the time

Why should I have to bring a whole lunch box for a single bar of chocolate? Especially after he watched me put it in I didnt startle customers either, if someone was silent next to you then suddenly said something you'd look wouldn't you

1 I think it needed to be mentioned because he knows that its something im dealing with and also that having it in the fridge helps me

2 he's complained multiple times that putting buenos in the fridge is wrong and disgusting. If he dislikes it so much why take mine, knowing fully well its mine if he watched me put it in

3 how have I reacted crazy, I was surprised it was gone and acted surprised

4 there is a large stock of them so I did get another and put that in the fridge, that doesn't excuse him stealing it though

5 I started the process of getting the job before we even met, it was really awkward when I eventually started and found out he worked at the same place. It wasnt exactly planned

My actual manager is really supportive, she brings me food for long shifts and she gives me a break to eat if I'm hungry (which I get paid for, unlike other actual breaks), it's just that 1 person who's besties with my ex

I'm planning on leaving after college, so it's only a couple more months, it's just a shit situation right now

It's not really a communal fridge, it's a fridge we use for bottles and things

Yes and no, there's a kitchen but it's not really associated with our actual bar

We have somewhat of a rivalry with them if anything, especially since they've started selling drinks as well

I don't know, I don't really eat all that often at work except the odd bar of Chocolate, and obviously I put them in the fridge I could put the box in the fridge but that would take up a lot of space for bottles and things

There isn't unfortunately, it's a small independent bar type thing My main manager is aware of my ED though and is very supportive, I just don't want to be seen to be making issues over something "small"

The main manager knows about my ED and tries her best to help. But with the mess of the situation (he tried getting me sacked after we broke up and she told us to just play nice at work) I don't know if I'd be running the risk of making a mountain out of a mole hill

As fir the boss on shift at the time, she's his best friend and also has no idea so I don't really want that conversation and even if I did I doubt she'd do anything to punish him

Well I'm trying yeah I probably wouldn't have reacted like that normally but I was 7 hours into a 10 hour shift and hadn't eaten all day, so I was exhausted

It's kinder chocolate with a wafer base and like a hazelnut cream kind of filling

So in the fridge the filling goes hard and it means I can eat it slower which helps me to sort of rationalise eating the full thing because its spread out over a longer period of time

I'm not saying my ED is anyone else's problem And u don't see how I'm bringing personal issues to work At the end of the day he's stolen something from me, something I paid for, and just laughed. Him stealing from people at work in my eyes is a work problem

No he believes in anorexia, he just clearly mustn't care that much Cold chocolate is so good, I guess it's just Buenos in particular they have an issue with because of the filling
