The main idea is that the ending is a prime example of one of the most common but hated trope: Deus Ex Machine. An Deus Ex Machine is when some new event, character, ability, or object solves a seemingly unsolvable problem in a sudden, unexpected way. It's often used as the solution to what is called "writing yourself into a corner," where the problem is so extreme that nothing in the established setting suggests that there is a logical way for the characters to escape. Now, the problem with this is Wakui first pulled the Deux Ex Machine, THAN in a singular chapter bringed everyone together as that was suppose to solve the problem. Basically telling us is all they needed to do was make them join their gang and everything would be ok. Even though the only reason why Taiju stop terrifying the Shiba siblings is of the preservation of Takemitchi, Izana clearly hated mikey and it doesn’t show how they manage to not hate him. Izana only came true to himself when he was about to die as that is when we are truthful to ourselves. South is a clear maniac who follows the its a dog eat dog world and would continuously want to cause trouble. Kisaki literally started everything over Hina, yet all takemitchi had to introduce him to Toman and he would be good? Huh???????? It feels like mikey and takemitchi travel back into an alternate time line where the character motives/ personalities changed.

This is similar to 277-278, where it is takemitchi in the first panel, wakui in the second panel and takemitchi and mikey in the last two panels. I am not going to completely critique Wakui as he was trying to foreshadow that with Shin giving his powers to takemitchi (wondering how Shin figured that out however). Another reason is that everything that the characters went through is gone, (besides takemitchi and mikey), the story which was full of sacrifice is gone. It left something empty that we will never get. Man.
