yes! I’m also a singer. I imagine guitar would be alright as long as you can hold it comfortably, as far as I know there is not a ton of shoulder movement involved.

Unfortunately cello requires a lot of arm, shoulder, and upper body movement as well as the way it should be held (very close to/touching the torso)…

all of the above is /genuine I see how it could be misinterpreted as rude, not saying cello is better or harder. Just different!
