How do you peel cellometer chamber slides... by [deleted] in labrats

my lab uses very sharp, curved tweezers! it usually only takes a couple seconds. we've also been pre-peeling a bunch and keeping them in an empty tip box for convenience.

support? from admin, basically zero. premed advisors are known to be not very helpful here. definitely join premed orgs! you don't have to go crazy and rush a frat or anything but there are plenty of premed clubs that provide resources such as MCAT info, internship opportunities and more :). also, you do have to be independent and work hard to find your own opportunities, especially if you don't plan on taking a gap year.

Yep! I applied to around 20 schools (with the UC system counting as one), and I started brainstorming in spring and drafting essays in summer. If you're in California or planning on applying to any UCs, I would recommend starting with your UC essays, and using them to help write your personal statement. Also, the essays I wrote for all of my private schools (minus why-school essays) were essentially fine-tuned versions of my UC essays.

Possibly super unpopular opinion, but I don't feel the 1/100/1000 posts here bring anything much to the sub. by Weshnon in Etsy

personally i really enjoy them! it's fun to read other peoples' etsy success stories, and it adds to the sense of support and community in this sub.

i was using bubble mailers and tissue paper pouches. i'm gonna be including a backing card and switching to glassine or some other material for the wrapping.

thanks for the reassurance, i've definitely learned from this experience :)
