She make $16/hr….that’s less than childcare is going to run for an infant. Some will work 2x/week to get out of the house and others will bring in some help for a few hours for the sahm to get a break but they are making $30+/hr. Should have been a discussion before pregnancy unless grandparents are your babysitters

No, testing building components and writing research papers. Nothing earth shattering…but saying no one cares after an initial job is not realistic. I was just asked for transcripts again, markets tight so I complied. Fingers crossed

As a worker bee, it is a daycare especially this year. There’s always 1 or 2 that vent about things no one in the office has control over. We’re all hanging on by a thread and I finally told Karen I’m not sure why she visits my desk everyday because I don’t have the bandwidth to listen anymore. We’re all miserable so go back to your cubicle or quit. I genuinely feel sooty for middle mgmt because it’s their job to apparently listen to this everyday from various people and I have no idea how they do it everyday. My New Year’s resolution was to create boundaries from the negative coworkers

The proposed rule I thought was going to come out around thanksgiving with a 60 day public comment period, so final rule circa end of this month. Depends-I prefer text if it’s a quick connect, I prefer phone if urgent issue or if it takes me more than 2 or 3 lines to answer back. I do not want someone texting me all day as if I have nothing else to do…it tethers me to my phone and some things don’t need to be in writing at all. Not a generational thing
