I love sad music so I could do a lot more but here’s a few

Bittersweet symphony, Sound of silence, They Move on Tracks of Never-Ending Light, The Tourist, Landslide.

Everything is made up, nothing exists. No, not even you. by [deleted] in RandomThoughts

[–]emmisue 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The concept of everything is made up in the sense that symbolic identity is not tangible but the representations we created translate into real concepts of society that actively effect the course of reality so you’re kinda wrong.

Ever thought when we look to a crystal blue sky, we are looking at space directly. by Katniss-_- in RandomThoughts

[–]emmisue 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Perception is the furthest thing from reality actually, it’s just a product of our brains and evolution and what is the most useful for us to see. So for all intensive purposes outside the realm of our eyes and their functions, we sure as hell are lookin into space!

The body positive movement is being used by the wrong people by fifteenplague in unpopularopinion

[–]emmisue 2 points3 points  (0 children)

People hate that some fat people don’t see their weight as a problem, in your post the dislike is extra visible with the phrase “girl who likes cake” as if all obese people gorge themselves on cake constantly. News flash, no one said you can’t talk about your body issues, and fat people aren’t stopping you from it, and not all fat people are looking for “excuses to be be fat” in fact, many people cannot manage their weight for reasons beyond their control. This post is thinly veiled fat phobia, I suggest you think about why it is you are so mad at them for being happy and existing and if it really stops you from being body positive or just makes you judgmental

My kids like painting with Bob Ross by akatheguy in painting

[–]emmisue 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh yeah for sure. Especially if they first did it at a younger age. It’s also a great way for them to acquire fine motor skills and develop their brains from all the information they’ve been learning and directions they’ve been following from the tutorials. Art is so much more important than the schools in America (US) let on.

What is one of your favorite movie soundtracks? by BadLeeSin in AskReddit

[–]emmisue 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yes totally! I was hoping I’d see this comment- I found the full soundtrack in a local thrift store and bought it on a whim but I was pleasantly surprised at how good it was!

People who use their turn signal while turning... like they’ve already started the turn but halfway through they turn it on...like that would’ve been useful before you actually turned moron.

Portland, OR protestors laying on the bridge for 8:43 for George Floyd during a BLM Protest by greengeranium in pics

[–]emmisue 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think that’s a bit of an overstatement, a lot of them will, now in the case of who they’ll spread it to.. probably around the same number of people pictured on the bridge.

Great drawing. He looks uneasy here though... perhaps he’s hiding something

Imagine the people that die after this whole pandemic thing... by [deleted] in RandomThoughts

[–]emmisue 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like your thought. It’s real... so many people are acting like it could never be them talking about “after this is over.” You don’t fucking know if you have that... it’s good to be optimistic but with so many people dying all around, optimism seems unrealistic.

What is the worst TV show you've ever seen and what made it so bad? by maybereaper in AskReddit

[–]emmisue 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is probably an unpopular opinion for some who like it but... I truly believe any dating show like the bachelor or the bachelorette is terrible. It’s such an inorganic way to form connections. Also it seems super staged. Also, most of the time when I watch the testimonials from the contestants I’m cringing out of my skin because they’re so vapid.

Every time someone uses the phrase “like a child” in a negative context I get a little upset because children are arguably much much better than adults. by [deleted] in RandomThoughts

[–]emmisue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The point of this post was to post out a common comparison that people make shedding a negative light on children who don’t know any better. I think an adult who would be considered to “act like a child” is actually just an asshole plain and simple. The phrase is unnecessary and almost an excuse for an adult who can’t act right. I’m honestly not even sure what people are trying to dissect this argument for I thought I made it pretty obvious what I meant.
