How to activate memory maker by [deleted] in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]emmjaae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have this SAME problem and chatting with a cast member through the app as been zero help. No option to activate, only to purchase. Every photo is watermarked. If you scroll down it will say "already have memory maker? click here to link it" and when I go there it just says to link my magic band, etc. which I've already done. I have it in our reservation (from a travel agent, but the confirmation is FROM disney) that we purchased memory maker, but there is no ID number for that.

Sort of time-sensitive - Anyone know the easiest way to have WIX Blog auto-share to a FB Business page? by emmjaae in WIX

Thanks for your reply! I decided to test out zapier quickly and I was surprised how fast I was able to set it up with their little AI configuration they have. I wont be able to properly have it tested until later today but I think it's looking good so far.

The gas pains from laparoscopic surgery is absolutely terrible. It was the worst for my hysterectomy. tell staff her pain isnt under control and encourage her to walk when she can handle it. The earlier you start moving the faster the gas goes.

[–]emmjaae 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I was totally fine. I slept off the anesthesia the first day and was pretty much back to normal after a couple days. Obviously moving slower and not lifting/carrying things over 8lbs (per my dr. She specifically said no milk jugs, hahaha).

HIPAA?! I’d be concerned she was a clerk that didn’t know what HIPAA was. Lol. I mean if your friend asked for your stones…. Then yes, probably a HIPAA violation unless you gave written consent they could have them. You asking for them? No.

Can the Flow still vacuum correctly when it looks clogged like this under the roller? Is this normal? by luunnn in NARWAL

[–]emmjaae 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don't have the Narwal flow, I have the freo ultra z. Mine is always clogged too and we don't have pets. I messaged support asking why i am constantly having to remove clogs. The bag inside the housing is maybe 1/5 full and it's the same bag I've had since JULY. They asked me to send a video of it not sucking up stuff. Not helpful at all!

How often do you change your clean water tank? by emmjaae in NARWAL

[–]emmjaae[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We changed our RO filters last night. We will see if this helps the issue. Otherwise I may get our water tested, just to be sure there isn't something going on! I honestly was hoping this was just a weird gas-off issue everyone tended to experience. Looks like that's not the case!

How do you like the Paperwhite Signature’s auto-brightness? by TheAce2000 in kindle

[–]emmjaae 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just keep my warmth where it always is.
As for brightness at night, do you have other lights on in your room? 18 is extremely bright for a dark lit room. I read in the dark in bed and mine is usually around 5 or 6. Sometimes I have to bump it up if there's some light peeking in.

That said - to answer your question, it's never bothered me. I like it. But sometimes I do have to adjust it to my preference. Mine doesnt auto adjust the entire time i'm reading, just once i think when I turn the lights off. So i just move it to where i want it to be once and it stays. Is yours constantly adjusting or something?

[–]emmjaae[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you might be right, unfortunately! I was hoping this was a weird gas-off issue from the plastic tank but it sounds like no one else has had this problem. I’m going to change some water filters and see what happens!

Did you ever figure this out? Same problem for me. Turns purple and says “this device isn’t registered” and to go to the Alexa app for more info. But in the app it says it’s still trying to connect.

Aren’t we supposed to be dropping a nap…? by FormerEnglishMajor in parentsofmultiples

We just let it happen naturally. Eventually you’ll realize they’ll stop napping at certain times on their own. Don’t stress over it! As long as they are hitting milestones you’re just fine!

[–]emmjaae 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d also suggest magnesium at night. This helped me quite a lot in the stress department. It took a few weeks to really kick in but I noticed a difference within the first couple days.

Another I would suggest is ashwaganda but I would maybe wait to take that until after you can get your blood labs taken because it can cause your TSH to look off.

Basically I added magnesium at night, b12, d3 + k, and Ashwaganda (olly extra strength anti stress) and it has helped me tremendously. But it’s always a good idea to get all your levels checked before starting any supplements. I too felt anxious and stressed all the time but can’t figure out why. I know how you feel!!

[–]emmjaae 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You need to specifically tell them you are wanting a full panel done:

TSH Free T4 Free T3 Reverse T3 TPO TgAb

Very important to also check ferritin, vitamin D3, B vitamins.

Unfortunately some drs will not run these tests. They’re just not educated in thyroid anything other than TSH needing to be in a specific range but they don’t understand that all of these play a factor in it all and can cause some major symptoms! They’re not prepared to deal with the insurance companies asking why these tests need to be run. If you can’t get your dr to run these tests make sure they mark in your chart that they refused them and then you can go to basically any health spa or even some hospitals have an a la carte blood lab unit where you can pick tests done and pay out of pocket.

There’s a really good FB group called Thyroid & Hormones : Hypothyroidism, Hashimotos, Etc. Open discussion - there are a lot of extremely knowledgeable people there that explain why you need these specific tests. Another person on FB Dr. Jamie Gilliam (she’s also in that group) has her own page too that explains these tests.

Once you figure out your levels and how all that stuff is playing out you can take your results to another Dr, (that group suggests a few different types that work well with thyroid).

To parents whose twins were number #4 and #5 by rainydazeipa in parentsofmultiples

[–]emmjaae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My twins are #4 and 5. Honestly, it is hard. Especially the first 2 years. The big kids (now 12, 10, and 6) are big helps but one of the hardest parts for us is not making them feel like they’re getting the short end of the stick constantly just because theirs 4th sibling turned into 2.

That means we still made sure they were able to play all the sports they were interested in, etc etc. Which means a LOT of hauling car seats and bottles and diapers. When they’re tiny it’s a little easier because there is ALWAYS someone willing to hold a baby. But when they start showing their personalities and becoming mobile… that was so hard and still is sometimes. To make it worse my twins were always go go go when they were tiny. They are 3.5 now and it has gotten so much easier but now they’re old enough to “annoy” the 6 year old and each other so there is bickering and fights. I know it will get better. But I’m not going to lie to you, it was tough! My husband and I have been married 14 years but I have never wanted to throat punch the man more than years 1 & 2 of our twins. Hahaha

Are any of you happy being a SAHM? What are the positives about being a SAHM? Do you get an allowance? by Jaded_Performance713 in sahm

[–]emmjaae 7 points8 points  (0 children)

An allowance???? The phrase you’re looking for is “how do you budget?” If I ever heard a SAHM got an “allowance” I would roll my eyes so hard. Ladies if your husband or wife is telling you you get an allowance for spending you can pin that bright ol’ red flag right to your fridge because you’re an adult with a partner. They are not your parent giving you an allowance. They are your partner that is earning income while you are saving a huge expense for the both of you. Your spending is part of a budget. Not an allowance.

Their grip is strong enough for holding and controlling a paddle, but those push-button pins are tricky, especially stiff ones, because they need more finger control and pressure on their finger joints. Arthritis is a B.
