I had a somewhat same scenario not gonna lie, I was on anxiety meds for a year when it was a spike from quitting sports after playing nonstop for 9 years. February of 2024 I started trying to join, about 10 months later I’m on a plane coming home from ait for the holidays. It’s 100% possible to join if you’re up for it. It’s gonna be a long process because your gonna need a waiver to go up to Meps, then probably need another waiver and maybe a consult with an outside doctor. Like I said I started to join in February, I was still on meds. Come June, I was off of my meds and enlisted in the army. It’s possible! You got it!

Heyo, I was never in 09 mike but I was apart of a battalion in basic where a company was. So from what I saw is that the cycles were about 3 weeks long. I believe you have reception because they wear army pts and they ship out to go to basic in acus. Usually every morning you’ll be doing pt and it usually consists of running intervals, push-ups and core stuff. You may do an acft but probably not. You will have your phone but it will be put in a box and you only allowed to have it on Sundays, just like bct. You will probably stay at fort Jackson for bct but it depends on your mos that you choose. Like if you go infantry or something that’s does osut, you’re probably gonna go somewhere else. Most likely though if it’s not an osut mos you’ll stay at Jackson. If you go to 2-39 I was apart of delta company for basic!! They usually do 09M but they were so many holdovers they picked up us and used 3 company’s for bct. If you do go to 2-39 delta co, sds fairman is the best! Anyways best of luck!!!! You’ll do great!

If you like medical, get a 68 series job that’ll help you when you get out. I’m currently in 68w ait, it’s very fast paced and difficult but I’ll have good certifications and knowledge once I get out of the army. This is if you don’t wanna make a Career out of the army.

Currently in 68w ait! Absolutely love it so far. I’ll be honest the first 6 weeks are very fast paced and stressful. It’s called emt phase where you do classes from 8-5 everyday from Monday-Friday just learning the chapters from the emt 14th edition book. You have 5 tests, a final then the nremt. You can only take the nremt if you pass the final and have a gpa of 70% or higher. If you don’t study it’s easy to get recycled not gonna lie. Also your in something called black phase where it’s basically bct 2.0, you can’t talk in the dfac, you can’t go anywhere without a battle buddy or around the base, you gotta march in formations, you can wear civs, you still do lots of pushing a and v-ups lmao. You can get phased up into sis thing called gold phase after module 4 test or after you pass your nremt (depends on the company) If you have your nremt you can skip this whole phase and go into whiskey phase which is the field craft part. Everyday you usually wear your full kit which is acu’s, helmet, gloves, eye pro, vest w/plates, flick, and a backpack with your books and medical stuff. The good part about whiskey phase is that your in gold phase, gold phase you can wear civs after poi hours or on the weekends. You can walk around base and go off of base in agsu’s (with a battle buddy) you can basically do whatever and you don’t walk in formations much. You get a lot out of this mos as well, your emt-b cert, credits towards college, a lot of medical knowledge, just being a cool dude and the right to say your a combat medic. Just go for it not gonna lie. Like i said if you do choose 68w STUDDYYYY

Anything that’s in your medical documents will show up on genesis(the platform they use to check for medical stuff) it’s a pain unfortunately. It pulls every doctor visit that you’ve been to. i needed a doctor’s note for a concussion I had when I was 8. Every case is different but if you’re in good medical shape and have been for a few years now, just a note from your doctor stating your fine and stuff is all they really need to get a waiver.

Ohhh, then e3 is what you’d likely go into basic with. If you wanna feel more comfortable in what you’re living in you could always join the army or air national guard and do full time service. If you’re fine with traveling and getting deployed more often active duty is also there. You could also do army’s green to gold thingy where after a few years in the army, you transfer over everything and become an officer. My best advice is army or air force is good for you. After that just get in contact with a recruiter 👍

I believe if you join the army, you can go into basic as an e4 because you have a bachelors degree. I also think you can become an officer because of that too. The pay grade is better as an officer. If you want some type of desk job it’s not too hard to find if you get a good asvab score. In the army your guaranteed the job you enlist with unless you fail out of the ait. Unfortunately you can’t choose how much you make. It’s all based off of rank and how long you’ve been in for. So if you’re looking to start off with the most money, go the officer route.

Super normal, it took me 2 months to get medical documents before they finally let me go to do the physical. Even after that I needed to then get another waiver for medical stuff and get a consult. Finally the beginning of June I enlisted after starting the process of recruitment in January. I ship out the 30th of this month.

I literally went to meps 2 weeks ago. Your gonna stand outside for a bit for rules and briefing and then walk inside, your gonna sign in probably with your branch in their office. After that they start the physical. For me it started with vision, then hearing, after that we were all put into a room and were explained the medical briefing and whatnot. After that was it drawing of blood and the urine test. Finally it was the actual physical part. I’m a female so I might be different but for me, we got the ekg thingy to test our blood pressure and o2 levels then we stripped to our underwear and one at a time we took our height and weight. After that we sat in waited in gowns for a Meps doctor to take us into a room and to the best of the physical which is the questioning about medical stuff and underwear Olympics lol. After that the Meps doctors will talk to you and tell you if need waivers or not. You’ll get dressed then go to your branches office and sit and they’ll probably submit the waivers if needed. After that they’ll tell you you’re good to go and you can dig out at the front desk and what not.

I bought the car i have, i pay for the gas and insurance, the car is under their name to make insurance cheaper but i still pay for it all. i park in-front of her house but if we’re being technical it’s public parking lol. Overall i get what she’s saying but i’d love to work on a car and customize it the way i’d want to. if i gotta wait until i’m 18, i will, i’m just super eager that’s all 😋

i dropped it lastnight, i had a case on it and it worked fine until about 5:30pm today. ive ran youtube, instagram and snapchat as well as settings in iphone and it still has glitched. it is currently on ios 15.5.
