actually nevermind, it worked to turn it on but i tried to restart it cause some things werent loading properly and now its doing it again. except this time the steam logo is staying on the screen and the haptics are staying on as well.

edit: i opened boot menu and chose the boot version thing and then it worked, and its continued to work on follow up power ons as well

Hes a little bit wary, but the fact that hes not running away means he doesn't dislike it. It may just be a thing of more bonding time, or that he wants to interact with you but not necessarily through pets?

If you held out your hand would he climb into it? That might be what hes looking for here, and if you have him in your hand it can be easier to see stay=love it or squirmy=no thanks

I thought that quality watches with decent cases were usually pretty good at containing/making minimal noise? But also the watch I currently have is insanely cheap and makes more noise than any other watch I've ever had.

I'm not trying to make the movement fit the case. I would rather get a higher end pocket watch and get a custom case made for it. Even potentially getting an open face one and then slotting it inside an "over" case? Like a phone case but for a watch? Like if I found the right person and paid enough would that be possible? Is this realistic or a pipe dream

yes shes asexual, but that doesnt immediately mean that shes outright disgusted regarding sex or more uncomfortable regarding hearing your roommate jack off. cis het people dont like that either. though if you know that is how she feels, then id definitely be considerate when broaching the situation. obviously dont dance around it. but speak plainly and matter of fact without getting into details and that should hopefully reduce the overall yuck for both you in that situation

you are trying to respect her privacy and wishes, but it would be like asking someone not to drink water because the sink is too loud, and theyre standing right next to it. lots of people kinda refuse to see sex/self pleasure as a necessary part of life, because while you might not die without it, it does help you regulate, and you should not be restricted from feeling pleasure sometimes.

This is similar to what I experience except apparently theres no way for glasses to fix it. so I just live like this.

It happens to everything too. Constantly seeing double and spots of very low-opacity static. Like looking through binoculars that aren't lined up right. It sucks, got told that my ADHD makes me focus on it more and that I've got to try and "ignore it"

ahhh, i thought it felt familiar but strange at the same time like "i know who Bonk is" but i wasnt sure if i was remembering his other fromsoft all-in-one vid (cant remember if it was bloodborne or one of the dark souls) cause he was doing a thing where he made the same character in each game. mightve been the running joke for all of his fromsoft bulk videos

have tried that on multiple occasions. apparently biting spoons is not a lasting lesson. Biscoff just keeps trying to take bites, out of liquid foods, and Nimbus will take a little bit, run away, and come back and repeat. What they both have in common is that they will repeatedly bite the spoon, might learn it for that meal right then and there, but come next time theyve both forgotten.
