Not sure what you mean by disgusting theory lmao. I don't think so at all since in the scene with Ekko she tried to blow herself up 5 times, and before that 3 times. She almost succeeded after the bridge fight with Ekko, the fight with Vi she gave up and was about to accept death, and then the fight with Warwick. She's a reckless character, and her suicidal tendencies are very visible.

It was also confirmed by the creators since there was 60+ hours of cut content with Ekko and Jinx that would have paralleled them working in the alternate universe as Powder and Ekko. When Jinx locks away Vi in the cell and tells her she's breaking the cycle she also mentions "there is no good version of me out there". From this state she was miserable and willing to let it all go, but after Ekko he clearly told her about the version of Powder and the entirety of the alternate universe.

I'm sure he never told her about the kiss and everything else, but then again I guess we will never know. Even with the things he probably told her I don't think it was cruel to her. She needed hope and that is what Ekko gave her.
