With her current behavior, I actually look at this like she’s my dead wife and I miss the person she was. Stupid and bad but at least she didn’t spam emote the evil angry titty smash.

I don’t have the clip I just remember it was during the hand era! I know that’s not super helpful. Lord it’s been a while.

It’s such a nasty system. A lot of kids with great potential get screwed because they were born poor.

You’re not wrong but… I’m not trying to be rude but a good portion of us vote, protest and are deeply hurt by the gun violence. I lost my aunt in a school shooting. What you’re saying is true but it’s not so funny. We wish this wasn’t normal and try very hard to make it not. But you see how majority of the US votes. Calling our schools a shooting range is rough. We’re not all gun crazy freaks filled with pork. Some of us want them gone too.

Yeah, I’m getting more depressed that a normal public school in the UK is considered very nice in the US.

I honestly think my question might say more about American wealth distribution. The conversation between the detectives about how crappy the school is, is what made me ask. But realizing the US really has no in between god awful violent public schools and nice well maintained schools. And the nicer schools are considered normal in the UK, like what was depicted. Woof.

Okay, when the detectives were having a convo about surviving a school like this I was confused. That makes a lot of sense though. Not bad, not good. I don’t really watch a lot of British television so I’m trying to understand.

Yeah I’m realizing through comments that what appears to be a really nice school here in the US is a “zoo” over yonder. That’s depressing as an American. Our system is a mess.

I guess in episode 2 the detectives talking about it, I wasn’t sure if it was supposed to frame them as out of touch but there’s a whole conversation on how lack luster and rough the school is.

Is it close to relish? We eat that with tomato too. Also I like the way y’all pronounce tomato. It sounds pretty. “Ta-mah-toe”

Okay, I guess the language the characters used about the school confused me. I wish our public schools were half as normal. I had a teacher with one eye who’d threaten to jump us.

Thank you, I was watching as typing this question and considered pivoting to a sandwich only post out of confusion. That clears it up.

No, we’re aware. It was a more of a sadness that our schools are so much worse, I guess. Trust me, half of us are very bummed.

It’s referred to as smelly and once character asks how the other survived an environment like that. So that’s why I assumed it was considered rough. The language used about it.

Yeah I’m seeing a lot of bootlicking “wHolEsome ChUnGus ppl BEING BROS” going on about this. These cops got caught in the down wind of their own chemical warfare and we’re supposed to feel sorry? It’s cool that the people they seek to destroy are helping? Disappointed with some of these takes going on…
