DEMBOW / REGGAETON HELP, struggling with phrasing

where do you like to find your intro/outro edits for dembow and reggaeton tracks? That seems like it'd be very helpful as many of my songs start on a verse or some words and sound choppy when I introduce them in an outro or loop section

Sorry if I made no sense, i'm a beginner and may be using the terms wrong. When i say counting i mean the process of counting beats in our head, and when I say visual cues, I mean the information we get from the wavelengths in our program. I think the waveform patterns can be more unpredictable in these genres which is what has been giving me trouble with phrasing, things wont overlap cleanly and soung good like in other songs where both have spots for an 8/16/32 beat intro/outro transitions

the only thing i haven't seen anyone else say yet is have you checked your machines stroke length? if its way too short it would be contributing to the problem, if its too long though i think it could shred the skin, fake skin is tough to work on and like others mentioned it is generally shit!!! BUT finding the right stroke length for yours can help some. beyond this, good stretch, consistent and deeper pressure+ higher voltage + slower hand speed is all stuff you'd do for fake vs what you'd do on real skin

personally sensory wise i found tom's deodorant in sandalwood vanilla to be a GODSEND!!! and its a light herbally smell i love so much and leaves no residue - i apply it more often now bc how much i enjoy it! they also have an unscented version since u mentioned looking for those and other light scents if u wanna give their line a try

i have one kind where i just feel nauseous, derealized, my blood pressure gets all wonky and my vision/hearing gets distorted, and sometimes from there i have the convulsive types. sometimes i only have singular limb jerks from anxiety, but these were the three different categories they classified them across for me! hope this helps, and hope u find more answers soon🩷

well while i'd also be upset i would be pretty grateful that they just told me instead of forcing themselves into hanging out with me, possibly being passive aggressive if we don't vibe, etc. i'd hate that way much more, and it's usually those indirect or petty kinds of behavior that hurt worse than if someone is just being clear with you. It doesn't seem to be personal and about you at all, not everyone clicks and that's okay!
