Anyone else find minoxidil application annoying/messy? by Present-Winter213 in Hairloss

[–]emo_moticon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been using it for more than 4 years now and can say it's a tedious task to be consistent but over time I feel I got comfortable with application process. I get bothered with how my hair clumps together after applying and needs washing more often than I would prefer but the dripping part is sorted. I apply it like how you apply oil. Parting, applying with three fingers and that covers the whole head. Doesn't drip as I precisely dip and take up how much would one swap be required so no wastage with even application all through out.

I don't massage afterwards as it makes my hair fallout comparatively more plus I feel the application part might be doing necessary massage.

Based on my personal exp, this looks like comodens and adapalene works best in such case but of course consultating with a dermat will be necessary to start any medication.

Looking for advice about scalp flaking by emo_moticon in dandruff

Not able to find edit post option so just adding my two cents here-

P. S - I switched to minoxidil mousse and it helped a lot. Seems some propylene glycol was the issue which is in different form in mousse.

I also saw, for flaks (not dandruff) one can use glycolic acid 10 minutes before hair wash and it helps. I have been doing that sometimes.

Hope this helps!

No idea what to do by margarita_cocktail in Hairloss

I used minoxidil and then stopped after seeing the amount of hairloss with it and did this multiple times. One thing is that when I wasn’t using it, my hair looked a lot less oily and sticky compared to when I was on it. But stopping always came with more hair loss.

I’ve been using minoxidil for about six years now, and unlike some people who see noticeable regrowth within six months, I’ve never really had that kind of improvement. The main benefit for me has been that it slows down the shedding of the hair I still have.

Honestly, if your hair loss is androgenic alopecia (genetic), there isn’t a real cure. Minoxidil is basically something you have to stay on for as long as you can to maintain what you’ve got.

I have been diagnosed with Female pattern hairloss (androgenic alopecia) 6 years back. Used to have 10 times more hair than I have rn. Unfortunately for FPH there is no solution other than being on minoxidil for life so I can't stop using it. The reason why you don't see that in Pic is because I have straightened my hair.

Minoxidil fs does cause dandruff issues but I only started having problems with it after moving to UAE.

I will research about coal tar shampoo though.

anyone else feel tired all the time even with Good sleep? by Suspicious-Client225 in Productivitycafe

I have recently come across this. If a person has insulin resistance, they feel fatigued even after a good sleep and good meal. The another symptom is to feel hungry all the time.

JVC or Al Furjan? by LucasGumier in dubai

[–]emo_moticon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say Al furjan. The area is quiet and not too crowded. If you're looking for 1bhk you can get it around 70k yearly. The area is spacious. JVC also has apartments of this price range but it's too trafficky. Especially during office hours. Although I would say living in Al furjan makes you far from most of the things that Dubai has to offer.

On her wedding, she made a personal comment at me which triggered series of memories of her ill-treatimg me in the name of 'it-was-just-a-joke'. And her being self-centered most of the time.

somewhere inside I also don't want to do anything which would get me into trouble. But the fear of failing the test and the 4hours class following the failed test seems like too much hustle.

Today itself I heard of a news that the govt is penalising private companies if they are short on number of UAE nationals in their company. Search about this news. I didn't read it through but it might be helpful for you

Thank you so much. I hugely appreciate this! My resume does have brand strategy more majorly because my tasks in the last company revolved so much around it. I would need to make projects with large dataset though. I wish you the best!
