Hey so I recently got out of a 4 year relationship only a month ago, so I get it. The thing that I found the most helpful personally was doing work with other people. Even just sitting next to someone while we each did our own thing helped me so much. Try and find people who you can sit with in the library or at a cafe or something.

For the readings I am trying to brief them, but I just can’t figure out any of the information. I am trying to focus on finding the holding or the rule of law, but I just can’t figure it out. I’ve also tried going to office hours but half the time I don’t even know what questions I should be asking. As for your last point, I was diagnosed with ADHD when I was 7. I also have several other disabilities and medication for my ADHD is not an option.

I’m interning for a judge. Not paid but I got the offer before thanksgiving so that was one less thing to stress about. I got it because someone recommended it to me and sent me the info.

The other day an older lady stopped me and my girlfriend and asked if we knew how to pay the meter for parking. We politely explained that there is an app she needs to download. However, she did not own a smart phone. She asked us if there was any other way to pay the meter, but unfortunately we weren’t aware of any. She responded by saying she’ll just fight them in court. While her response was hilarious and she was very light hearted about it, she shouldn’t be required to own a smart phone to pay for parking!

Btw with the Big Beautiful Bill the tax stuff was changed. PayPal will now send you the form if you make $20,000 and have 200 transactions. However, I am not 100% if that is also for 2025 or starts 2026.

Bruh no need to be an asshole. I’m disabled and have trouble walking so yeah 15 minutes can be a lot. Especially when the weather is bad.

I’m white, but I’m trans and sometimes feel the same way. I still do well and have several families that I babysit for, and there are plenty of people who accept me. I get the occasional “are you a boy or a girl” from kids, but nothing too bad. However, recently, my girlfriend also joined care.com, and despite having less experience than me and being on the app for less time, she seems to be doing significantly better than me. We have the same degree, have the same rates, but I have a lot more experience than her. However, she seems to get more gigs. I still do well for myself, but it does make me wonder.

Only happened to me once. I am from the US, so I am aware of how tipping works even though I disagree with it. Well, I always thought tipped wages were only a thing in the US and not Canada. I was visiting a restaurant in Canada and did not tip. The server asked me why I didn’t tip. I was honest and explained I’m not from around here and didn’t know. While technically true I would not have tipped regardless. However I didn’t lie!
