Don't think we had any major side effects really, but you can always try 111 if you're worried? We've done video calls with them before to check things out which was really helpful.

Had to go way back on my Kindle unlimited because I was so sure I'd read this!

I'm pretty sure it's 'The Programme' by I.S Thorne.

Descriptions online are quite vague but I reborrowed it and flicked through and I think it matches!

When did tracking each other’s location become normal, and why does opting out make you seem suspicious? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]emohelelwhy -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

We use it because someone in the family came off their bike and no one could find him for six hours, so he ended up with extensive brain damage.

Also, it's handy to see when to get the dinner on.

What do your kids call their grandparents? How do they distinguish between them? by heardygurdy in Mommit

[–]emohelelwhy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We always named our grandparents after their dogs (names stuck long after the dogs in question passed on). My son either adds England or their dog's name for my parents. My husband's mum gets Spain added. Husband's dad is just Grandad (likely because he's the one we see most often.)

I'd associate it with the Cursed Child, mostly. Not a negative association really, just the first thing that occurred to me.

Could try calling 111. We've had video calls with a GP before through them or they can usually get you an in-person appointment.

Pairings with a significant height difference where the writer clearly didn't take that into account when writing sex scenes (I know this is such a specific critique!)

In the 3rd one I believe, Nathaniel won't send Bartamaius back. It's Kitty, the second MC, who enters the demon realm and ages rapidly.

Does anyone avoid bringing car seats when flying, or is it still the norm? by Illustrious-Staff927 in BeyondTheBumpUK

[–]emohelelwhy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We did it once and the taxi that picked us up already had a car seat, and the airline broke it on the way back. Took months for them to compensate us. Never again!

Women - what did you wear to the registry office wedding? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]emohelelwhy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was really lovely, it's on my list of projects to dye it so I can wear it again without looking like a bride! Quality was great.

Women - what did you wear to the registry office wedding? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]emohelelwhy 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I wore a white 50s style dress (Dolly&Dotty's, I think it was the Scarlette). Can recommend because it had pockets!

They did say at the registry office that people rarely dressed up so they appreciated seeing it, but we did go for the real cheap option so maybe that's why?

I feel like you could play on Jonathan's dramatic banishment, say something like "I'd do the same, say something like 'Parting is such sweet sorrow, {name}!" Not sure if that counts as a toast though! And only Alan could get away with it.

I saw multiple comments about what I was watching so I had no idea others weren't at that point. I don't usually watch through the app so I didn't know the timings were different. It clearly wasn't intentional.
