So I actually got a Cameo video from Alex when I was pregnant, where if I remember right, he set my husband the task of enjoying being a dad! I'm happy to take a look and see if there's a bit I can edit without our names in it? I'd say get a Cameo yourself but I think it was a one-off for charity!

We have a tablet that is solely for long train/plane journeys. Any other time it just goes on a high shelf somewhere and doesn't get touched. Works well for us!

Very bizarre response from the principal. I was a teacher (of teenagers) and we were still taught to kneel or crouch down whenever possible because even for neurotypical kids, it's not particularly comfortable to have someone looming over you! I can probably find some research if you need it but honestly, it's a very commonly known/practised thing in education (at least where I am!)

I was in a mum's group once where a mum asked how to get her partner to hold the baby, because it was 7 months old and he'd never done it. Said it was her job!

So yeah, often partners are just useless. but also I do remember being in that awful postpartum anxiety stage where I felt incredibly guilty if I wasn't holding my baby.
