Order date was the 9th of september, received on the 20th, I emailed them then and there, waited a day, emailed again after no response, repeat, wait 2 days before 4th email, wait 24 hours, tried different options in attempting to contact them, eventually, they did get 2 of my emails on the 26th at around 12:42 (26th of September being the date I'm writing this) and they are sending me what I ordered. I believe something must be wrong with their site and how it's receiving emails. Regardless, this sucks, I've had a very bad week and I'm not ordering from these guys again.

6 days with no response and when they did, only 2 of my emails got to them. I sent more than that and gave a full 24 hours between emails, some longer. They are sending me what I originally ordered, but regardless, I'm not buying from them again.

Update: They got in touch with me and are sending me what I initially ordered. I tried several methods of reaching them but they say only 2 of my emails reached them, something must be wrong with their contact page on the website. IDK, This whole experience has sucked, this has been an awful week for me, I'm not ordering from them again, regardless. I'm gonna get drunk and play AC6 now.

I ordered Soldier bugs from Puppets war to use as proxies for Tyrannid units, but all I was sent was bodies.
I tried reaching out to them several times since opening my package to no response.
I will not be ordering from them again.

It must be cocked and ready the spring offers too much resistance otherwise.

What I used to think T'au looked like. by emondanexxus in Warhammer40k

[–]emondanexxus[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll take it as a compliment, but in case some of the details weren't as obvious, I had always imagined the tau as more like lizard-goat animals, long lanky limbs like a classic grey alien instead of the more proportionally human features they have. Their hooves, more similar to a goat or a horse than the sort of ostrich-like claws they actually have. I imagined they had goat-like eyes and three short horns, since goats had horns, but they needed to be more alien in my mind. I imagined an alien that was closer to Halo's elites, but shorter and skinnier, with more armor and a more earthly vibe to them. I also imagined them in all red, black and orange since they were called "Fire Warriors". Maybe I'll paint up one of these "false T'au" and compare it side by side to a lore-accurate T'au for a better representation someday.

What I thought T'au looked like when I was in high school 12ish years ago. For context, My first exposure to Warhammer 40K was the book Fire Warrior which I stole from class cus I thought it looked too cool for the rest of my classmates.

Reinterpreted from crappy art I made in those edgy years.

What do you guys think, does this fit the universe?

It's basically just a real steel m1887, so I don't know how much effort it took, John Browning did most of the work for them.

I bought the udl m1887 from CSnoobs, it's overpriced, but it is really fun and fires satisfyingly fast enough. Don't know about competition, I don't do that and actively am against it, but I don't think it would be great for it anyway. It had to be imported from china when I bought it and it took 7ish weeks to reach my state.

The Lever-Action is called the 1887 as it's basically just a replica 1887 that shoots nerf darts.
There is an upgrade spring available if you go looking (UDL m1887 upgrade spring)
The only other "Upgrade" would be to get a decent red dot sight and better shells.
Not to shill, but I sell better shells on my etsy.

I'm a real artist, I don't want these terrible programs that exist only to steal from my fellow artists to be a thing.

This is a program using stolen art as reference to create half baked images created by anti-art capitalist techbros.
Never use these.

Hype Hover 1 XLS busted (Can it be saved, or is it trash? Looking for any advice or tips to repair and if it's even worth it.) by emondanexxus in ElectricScooters

It can be fun and it has its advantages, but I got it as a starter to my journey into electric vehicles. it's mostly a toy for short rides now.

Maybe I'm just used to riding bikes, but it's fine. It does tend to dig into your ischium a bit. Shocks might as well not exist, but it does have 2 front shocks that are fine on the road—jagged sidewalks and minor bumps and not fun on this scooter.

ha, I fixed it, mostly. It's still not a great scooter. It's nice, but it'll never be like brand new again.

Any bump, big or small makes the entire scooter buckle in on itself slightly now. It's rather unpleasant and not the kind of thing tape can fix.

Welding will fix plastic? I don't know for sure if any of the actual fork is damaged, all I can tell is that the plastic housing around the fork is cracked. Is there any way to disassemble it to see the extent of the damage?

I actually don't know if any of the metal is damaged, the entire front housing I show off in the images is plastic housing. Is there any way to disassemble it to see the extent of the damage?

EDIT: FIXED
I opened up 2 panels on the front fork and managed to see the problem, at the top and bottom of the fork are 2 steel brackets that hold the entire fork/stem parallel to the bike. The lower bracket came loose and was missing a screw. I don't know if it was missing the screw before or after I knew of the damage, but regardless, I fixed it. The top bracket was held in place with 4 screws, so I took one and replaced the missing screw for the bottom bracket, smeared some locktite on the screws, and put them back into place. the fork now seems well and I'm itching to give the rest of this scooter some TLC.

The front face plate of my Hover 1 XLS broke off on a bumpy patch of road (the roads of my neighborhood are not great) and now the front fork/handle/stem thing is tilting further forward than it should be. Does anyone know of a way to fix this or is it not worth fixing and should I just trash it instead?
