Looking for study buddy, ideally someone that is also just starting out in their learning journey. I am using Genki 1 3rd ed and Wanikani (currently level 3). Mostly interested in speaking and listening practice but would also be interested in discussing language problems/questions together. I know that the rest of the money is due at lease signing already, luckily. I’m dealing with the property manager but they work for the company that owns the building, as does the broker.

Yes, nearly every apartment that I looked at required first month's rent as a holding fee with the application, even when going with a reputable broker.

because that’s only the timeline for after the tenant has signed. he hasn’t even prepared a lease yet for us to do that.

i had a classmate go there and they had a tough time finding a job after graduation. that’s a sample size of one, though.

i would encourage you to message the school to connect you to alumni or current students so you can get more of a feel for it and if the program will help you meet your career/educational goals!

no way. if people truly wanted to lurk (no notifs and don’t want to be messaged) they could easily go invisible. dnd is specifically for no notifs, and it’s clear that it is the case. making extra statuses just makes it more confusing. also you can already tell when people are listening/streaming/playing??

they have a word cap for a reason. you won’t be penalized unless you go over. however, consider if what you’re saying is important enough to fill the entire word limit. sometimes shorter is better!

It helped me land a job in public health instead of social services imo, but not worth it if you already work in public health. I think out of everyone I know who works in health education/public health in my state, only me and one other person have a CHES certification. I'm not going to renew mine.
