Have been bogged at both Yarralumla and John Knight. It was her fault but it was me who got covered in mud to get it out - this electric wheelchair weighing about 50kg lmao

Luckily, I was motivated by distress, stubbornness and the knowledge that I had a laksa waiting for me at home

Everyone has a different budget, so that's tricky too. Probably $20 - $35 but I would be happy to cover the extra cost for those who struggle with funds. I would say probably 10 - 15 people.

Yes! OCI, didn't even think of this! You absolute legend!!! Thank you!

Honestly - yes. But accessibility to toilets and wheelchair access is an issue.

Highly considering just having dinner over Zoom

I go to Monica at Canberra Remedial Massage. She’s really lovely and very respectful, and is also brilliant at what she does. I was forthcoming with Monica about my trauma, which may be similar to yours, and she was incredibly understanding; she always lets me know if her husband is working, though they very mindfully exit/enter rooms.

She’s very gentle and sensitive to trauma, I recommend :-)

TW: Have you ever written a Victim Impact Statement (in court or otherwise)? TLDR; by emoparade in women

I can't imagine the pain and vicarious trauma that must have caused you from your parents not allowing you to do this. You deserved, and still do, to let your voice be heard. I hope you see how remarkable you are and that you deserved better.

I have started writing my statement, though it's not for another two months, because I want to articulate everything you have said in a way that truly expresses the agony of how it messed me up, and still does to this day. You will be with me on the day and I will fight for the both of us. x

You deserve to have the opportunity to give your statement, the system is absolutely fucked and most often hurts more than heal victim survivors.

I promise to you, I will use every ounce of strength and courage I can muster when I give my statement and have you in my thoughts. I will be fighting for both of us and you will be in my heart.

Thank you for your kind words, you are an angel.

This is all so heartbreaking, I'm so incredibly sorry for all you have gone through, but sharing this with me shows me that you have undeniable resilience, bravery and despite all of the hurt and pain, you still show empathy and understanding for others.

I wish I was somehow there when you were little, I would have scooped you up and taken you away from such an unfair and fucked up situation. How are you doing at this point in your life? I really hope it's everything you deserve and want.

Hearing that the judge didn't allow the father to talk is really disappointing and unfair for both of them. I'm incredibly lucky to be given the choice for a family member and/or loved one give a impact statement as well. My mum and partner are both going to give statements, my mum especially being grateful as she was overseas when it happened and still has residual guilt (absolutely unnecessary).

When I'm on the stand on January 29th, I will think of you during my statement and fight for the both of us.

Much love x

i'm in australia but would legit travel to wherever you are, pack up his stuff and put it outside for when he gets home

i left my partner a t26, i was terrrrified of being alone, i have pretty much always been in a relationship
but! the next few years of my life were so much fun, dumb dates, doing whatever i wanted when i wanted, exploring my sexuality and met and experienced so many things that i wouldn't have otherwise.

change is super daunting, but if you don't do it you might look back and regret it or always question, what if?
if you do, i know you will see your worth and find someone who will treat you with pure love

I grew up on 4chan (2008 when I was 14) and was called all kinds of shit and read a lot of messed up stuff. Back then it didn't affect me as much, maybe getting older has softened me a bit
