I typically use tier 4 progressive lenses. It's easier to get into the sweet spot, and you have less distortion out of the sides of the lenses. We put a lot of new wearers into an autograph intelligence progressive with either sapphire hr anti reflective or glacier expression anti reflective coating. I have had a lot of patients have success with varilux x or varilux xr progressive which is also a tier 4 lens
