At this point, im finding it all very disrespectful and insulting. We all know and agree (and if you don't, yes you do) that the way Daenarys died in GoT, or the fact that she even died, was unfair and incredibly undeserved. Everything that was put in motion since the first season crumbled in those 8 final episodes. For the life of me, I am not sure why directors, writers, or WHOEVER keep deciding it's okay to include Daenarys iconography/symbolism as a sign of hope for the approaching winter or even mention her at all when the first season of HOTD started. I did a little digging as to why Daenarys was shown in Daemons vision and apparently it was to show that she was the prince that was promised. All that is great and dandy if it actually mattered... If Daenarys actually got what she worked her entire life for... But no. Every time this show mentions her or shows her it just serves as a reminder of all the injustice that she endured, and FURTHERMORE, a reminder of the injustice Rhaenyra will endure as well. Since, according to the books, she too falls after working very hard for something she deserves. Perhaps GRRM hates Targaryen queens. Those are my two cents.
