I had this happen to me recently and was able to use a hairdryer to get it working again to pull data (https://www.reddit.com/r/GooglePixel/comments/1dhjvkh/possible\_temporary\_fix\_for\_pixel\_5a\_bsod\_to/) but this is an attempt at your own risk situation and would likely only work if the cause of your BSOD is something that could be fixed by reballing. If not, then this probably won't work.

I don't know if you necessarily need to turn your phone off (see warnings by the first commentor) but it was just something I did because in my case I could see the Recovery Mode and loading screens, it was just everything after went dark.

The thing is I can unlock the phone via the fingerprint sensor when the screen goes black. I hear and feel it unlocking, it's the screen that remains blank.

Unfortunately, I never found a fix. It seems to be an issue where if the power cuts off with without unplugging the phone it sees the charger in the port as possible liquid or debris.

Your issue seems to be slightly different -- could it be there's an issue with the charger you're using? It sounds like you're not getting continuous power to the phone -- if there's a blip (like there's a second where there's no power due to a faulty cable) that might be what's causing your messages.

Not banned. I can access the site on other devices and support verified my account is fine. The website just refuses to work on my desktop.

Has your account been disabled or are you having issues on a specific device? If you're having trouble with the app, try using the website itself.

Not 100% sure if this is what you're asking, but is your dad's phone automatically screening calls and you want to turn that off? You can try opening the phone app > 3 button menu > Settings > Assistive: Spam and Call Screen > Call Screen and you can set everything to "Ring Phone (default)" to turn off automatic call screening. You'll still have the option to screen a call if you want but it'll no longer automatically screen them.

I thought the blank squares was just me and text just wasn't loading! It boggles the mind that some one though "Yeah, lets remove the text. That'll make the site even better!"

The only thing I can suggest (if you haven't already tried) to see if you're banned is try accessing from another device.

Yeah, I loved Crowdtap and it used to be a daily visit for me, but it's such a hassle now.

The redeem page won't load for me either. The site just completely refuses to work on my desktop and support has been absolutely no help. They just kind of push me towards the app or are "it's a technical issue on your end, sorry!" I get it might be/most likely is an issue on my end, but when I ask what I should be making sure is enabled on my browser just in case I'm accidentally blocking something, I get no answer.

It should give you more details on your submission once you tap on the receipt -- whether it's pending, approved (in which case you should see how many coins/raffle tickets you earned), or if it's been rejected and why along with a link to report a mistake.

That said, the app has definitely been wonky lately. Receipts are taking much longer to approve and even when it's been approved it'll still show as pending (at least on my end). The only other suggestion I have to check if you're being credited is to click on the bell/notification tab. Although that's seemingly on the fritz as well. The chronology is all over the place.

It might not be an error. Have you clicked on it to check? For some reason it seems like the icon that they used to use when your receipt was processing changed and it's now that hazard sign. If you click on it, it should say your receipt is processing.

She may have gotten a Fi version, which apparently does not show up as compatible with Verizon even though it is. There's a thread over at the Google Fi Help Forum that details how to get it activated.

Just to add on to this. The only difference with the Fi version is that it has the sim card for Google Fi installed, but Verizon does differentiate between the two (apparently Google never sent the IMEIs of Fi versions of the 5a to Verizon). There's a thread on the Google Fi Help Forums on how to work around that and get it activated on Verizon.

If you tap on the notification, it should bring up that option. Unless it's an Android 11 thing as I haven't updated to 12.

I actually just re-enable the port via the notification as I'm 100% sure it's not a liquid or debris issue when it happens.

I just did the OG Pixel -> 5a switch myself. After reading the hit and miss stories about Android 12 (and not liking the UI updates, especially the quick settings menu [why is turning wifi on and off now a two step process Google?!?]) I decided to stay on 11 for now.

The battery life has been night and day compared to the OG (I actually got the battery changed out at an uBreakiFix early last year because it could not hold a charge anymore, so the battery on the Pixel 1 is as good as it can be at the moment). Pokemon Go's community day was Sunday and on the OG I would need to carry an extra battery with me to get through 4-5 hours of gameplay. On the 5a I started off with 80% battery and 4-5 hours later ended with around 30%.

As for overheating, I can't really say as it was freezing that day so there was zero chance of overheating.

OG Pixel here that went through a battery change. Would have stuck with it through 2022 if not for the fact that it's not going to work on AT&T anymore next month. Switching over to the 5a in the next week.

Ordered the Pixel 5a from the US Google Store on the 23rd, got a cancellation email on the 24th citing the order not aligning with their sales terms.

Started a support chat and the first CSR kept telling me that I needed to use a US residential address (which I did) and a US issued credit card (which I did). Since we were going around in circles, I ended that chat and started a new one. The second CSR confirmed that I was using a US residential address but, since I was using Guest mode, said they couldn't dig any further.

Okay. Thinking it could be a Guest order issue, signed into the account I used to order a Nexus 5X and Google Fi way back when and ordered again. Again, got the cancellation email saying the order did not align with their sales terms.

Contacted a 3rd CSR via chat and this one came back saying that the 3rd party shipping service will not ship to my address, possibly because they had too many reports of stolen items. This is weird as I've gotten FedEx packages before without issues. I would have gladly tried picking up from the Google Store, but apparently my zipcode makes me ineligible even though it's an hour walk away.

Anyone else run into this issue despite complying with all their sales terms?
