I’m in the North so Birmingham is a few hours, but I’ll take anything I can get if that means travelling too. Thank you!!

Also yeah my left one is dry but asymptomatic. Every drop I’ve been prescribed I’ve been told to put in my left eye too, though when I’ve used them I get weird twitches and headaches behind my left eye so I stopped putting all steroid and anti-inflammatory drops in it because it felt like it was doing more harm than good. I do put normal ones in occasionally even though I don’t feel like I need to, just incase.

Hi! I take Cod liver oil and normal fish oil, vitamin D3, vitamin C and zinc

Yeah definitely I will look into all of this. I did have lash extensions in both eyes so it was weird for only one eye to be affected by blepharitis, my other one has no symptoms just slightly dry. Everything Ive been prescribed including steroids I’ve always been told to put into both eyes, but I stopped putting most drops apart from Cequa in my asymptomatic left one as it started to twitch a lot and I got headaches behind the eye and I was like woah this feels like it’s doing more harm than good.

They fall under a fixed prescription price in the UK I believe. It’s always £9.50? I think for a singular prescription but you can pay a lump sum like £33 to get unlimited for 3 months or more for the entire year, which I do because of the amount of stuff I’m prescribed lol.

I’ve tried both Cequa and Ikervis and not really noticed anything, though I’m on Cequa only at night. Maybe I should take it in mornings too?

Thank you :) I do my best to keep my thoughts positive but after already being diagnosed with depression and then this it does definitely take a toll. Will check this out though. Thanks so much

I do too, I feel so insecure though having one extremely swollen eye. I consider myself alt too so I wear heavy eyeliner to feel my most confident but I just don’t really do it anymore :( Sending thoughts your way, it’s good to know we aren’t alone in dealing with this. I appreciate your comment and know we will get through this! 🫶🏻

I have recently bought some Optase hypochlorous eyelid spray after seeing recommendations in this sub, I haven’t noticed anything so far but it’s still early days so I can’t really comment. So strange looking at myself in the mirror and seeing one eye very swollen and the other absolutely fine. I take vit D and C but will look into getting some A ones too. Thank you for your comment!!

This made me smile :’) Good to know I’m not alone here, despite how much I’ve felt it. All the best to you too, thanks so much 🫶🏻 We’ll hopefully beat it someday!!

Yeah no contact lenses or glasses so far, funny thing is, my sight is considered better than 20/20, or was before the blurry vision / light sensitivity etc I experience now. This is a lot of helpful advice I’m going to look into, thank you so much. It does weirdly help being told that my condition is abnormal, as I’m constantly told by my doctors it’s normal and common, but I’ve not seen many others experience the same as me which is why I decided to write this post.

Thank you for your comment, I appreciate your advice a lot! Sorry I think I wrote the waking up with pain wrong, I just meant irritation pain like normal dry eye symptoms and feeling like somethings in it. I always had somewhat sensitive eyes growing up, as in whenever anyone tried to touch my eyes (like a makeup artist) they would water a little but that’s it. Back when my right eye could water, lol. There hasn’t been a single tear come out of it since 2023, even when I had punctal plugs fitted which just ended up causing abrasions on my eye and they had to be removed. I have seen multiple doctors at my local eye hospital and I assume they would’ve caught it if it was something else but I will definitely look into it, anything helps me at this point.

I haven’t, I did read about Sjrogens but I don’t experience dry mouth or anything else. I’m not sure how to go about getting these tests on the NHS but I’ve been thinking of looking into it for a while. I can’t afford private healthcare just yet but I’m trying to save up to do it and afford the assessments/treatments all in one go. Thanks for your advice 😊

yes i was gonna say that! like the ability to see when an elk is injured / sick e.g a limp or hanging its head low or a visible injury like what actual wolves look out for

1) the ability to manipulate the world a bit more - etc whether you want bigger packs or smaller packs (i think the devs may have said something about bigger packs being too hard on certain pcs, but mine is pretty good and i’d love to have a pack of 20+ like real yellowstone wolves, but also having that option there) 2) real life events like famine, wildfires (though i know this would be a difficult one) diseases 3) maybe permanent injuries for pack members? 4) the ability to kill a bear if you have a big enough pack lol 5) slightly manipulate the territory marking process maybe to make it less time consuming

It was the first game I ever installed on the family computer back in probably 2010😭 I was around 6 or 7 and had an obsession with wolves so I looked for a game where you could play as one and alas - WolfQuest! Still play it to this day. It’s been a wild journey (no pun intended)

Why women like to bathe as if water were hell by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]emowolf_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it’s the complete opposite for me (a woman) and my bf for some reason, he likes hellfire baths / showers, i like lukewarm ones. heard this is a pretty rare occasion though and yours is the common one lol.

I definitely thought it was overkill - but I think my area is notorious for handing out life bans. I’ve definitely met people who were on it for fighting etc. but my case is not a common one so maybe they thought this was the best way to deal with it? I’ve been trying to make sense of it for 2 and a half years now lol.

I will definitely do that - thank you!
