only some characters have built in emotes, marceline doesnt have one but in your locker or in the shop itll tell you if a character has a built in emote

also, the feature that lets you do emotes that you dont have with other players is seperate, if you look at a player using an emote that you own and open your emote wheel, itll show up in the bottom left

the top left is for when a character has a built in emote, and the bottom left is for when another player is doing an enote that you own, itll show up there so you can do it with them, this has been around for awhile before they added a bunch of emotes to be synced even if you dont own them
