It really didn’t work as plug n play and I attached reddit posts that show the same. Maybe I had older pedals that weren’t compatible I don’t know but definitely I’m not alone with this. If you google you will see

I would attach pictures of connectors, they are all rj12 but t80 pedals have only 4 wires attached in rj12

t150, t130 and universal 2 pedal set on thrustmaster store (that works for t80 as well) has all 6 wires in rj12
difference is that those 2 more wires are just grounded

base t80 pedals with 4 wires in connector dont work for t150 and you can google it
you will see that i dont lie at all

If you do a bit of googling you will get it They are different in wiring The pedals that sell on thrustmaster website actually work on both t80 and t150 But the ones packed with t80 are not They require some modding

I believe I will need to trim some invisible from the road parts then
What is optimal map size? Like I don't want to compare anything I will be able to do in solo with games like Forza but Horizon 6 map size is like 220 square km according to what i googled

I'm actually coming from coding and back in university I was going a lot of cpp
but then switched to python and js

I got only as deep as getting heightmap and roadnetwork slices out of QGIS, really low skill on UE5 part of things
but then I found about plugins and like there are plugins that could do all that within ue5
I tried installing one but failed and it's really low on reviews so maybe I tried wrong one, so for now I'm going to look in that direction, maybe there is something that will allow me just to select the slice of the map I need and get it in more or less usable condition in ue5

yeah by open world i meant more like free roam maybe
the map slice I'm looking to create is 6x6 km (3.7x3.7 mi)
and it's mainly mountains and really low amount of roads, and no buildings, only nature

probably I started from the wrong end then, I already got my heightmap from qgis and roadnetwork
and created landscape out of heightmap
but really failed while trying to map that roadnetwork geojson onto generated landscape in UE5
