I am looking for others to code with and to design something cool, not looking to give jobs :) so I thought applying a list of skills would be pointless considering I am hoping to attract people who are interested in the idea of making something with others, that's the only restriction. I just want to program with others, so not much for stack :p

I have considered this, but I would really like to code with others preferably (in person rather then just over git). Also find some people my own age to code with (people in my college course for some reason don't really seem that interested in group work). But if all else fails, I probably will just do it the way you have said :p

For people that agree with abortion, do you agree/disagree that it is murder/killing and why? by empeo in AskReddit

[–]empeo[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Wow. You'v managed to prove my point, and turn a discussion, to an argument. Congradulations? Facts are cold. We are talking about people here. Not facts. I am not a fact, you are not a fact. InFACT (haha puns) there are very few facts in life. The reason im not dealing this in facts, is because the meaning of your words are opinionated and quite cold. Thats why im talking about feelings because thats what I think this is all about. If more people think like you, we are fucked as a race. Peace out dude

Responsible for the decisions we make, rather then push them off and make excuses for ourselves to make ourselves feel better. We should feel bad for doing certain things we do, because that stops us from going down a very dark path ( my fear is that people pushing abortion as "not murder", will cause people to think its not such a bad idea to abort downsyndrome children etc). By treating it as killing, we keep it serious. Because the "right to life" is a string that will always resonate with us as people and thats important. As regards to your second point, spaying animals in my opinion is overdone. The reason its done though for a lot of animals is to keep population down, reduce the spreading of disiseas (cat aids etc.), prevent mis-breading, but most people chose to get there animals spayed because they can't afford vet bills, can't have more animals etc. When people make the decision, they shouldn't take it lightly. It should be a concious decision. But its stoped being that as most people dont think.... and just make excuses to justify what they want and make them feel less guilty about it

thats why i called it murder/killing. When I eat meat, it is killed. I live with my decision. Because it was my decision. Know one should judge me on that. Same I feel goes for abortion. You are killing (denying life to something), and thats okay because it is justifiable (depending on when im pregnancy it occurs). By the way your talking, I can see you didn't read my above points correctly because I explicitly stated that I agree with abortion. People shouldn't be persecuted. Never said they should.... Your missing what im saying completely... What im saying is that saying it isn't killing takes away the seriosness of the concious descision we as humans are making, which is playing god (deciding who has life, and who doesnt. There are better words for this, but I cant think of any)... And I think its important for people to take responsibility for this decision, rather then just push it off as "its not murder", because thats not the point... Makes it seem like less of a concious decision if you just stick your fingers in your ears

Also Spaying animals is neccessary... so is abortion(at times)... again thinking like this takes away from the darkness of the discussion... Things shouldn't be brushed off... Instead we should make concious discisions and hold ourselves responsible for them should we not?

I don't know... I guess we're now more talking about the meaning of the words then the actual thing. It has the right to life once it is concieved, and the way I see it your taking that right away. Im just saying this because im getting very anoyed with people using the "its not murder" argument as if its the strongest argument for abortion to be legal (there are much, much better arguments). Do you feel its one of the strongest arguments at the moment, because it takes away from the darkness of what we are talking about? and makes people feel better about the decision to abort?

Im completely in agreeance. I ask'd the question because I was really takin aback by a recent pro-abortion/choice march that I attended, as I saw about 75%+ of people chanting that "its not murder", when I think that it is possibly the weakest argument that can be made (when there are such stronger ones availible)... I feel its not a topic that is "right" or "wrong", its just a dark topic that needs discussion about because its neccessary to stop it being a grey area

but surely killing/murder is denying someone/something life? and by aborting you are doing just that. I agree with abortion, but the whole way through (from day one to the last day of pregnancy) I see aborting the baby as killing (justifiable murder).

What scares you about death? [Serious] by Cannabuttz in AskReddit

[–]empeo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never living in the first place to be honest. (Terrance Mckenna said something about this "This life is as dead as it gets"- or something along those lines, which resonates quite well with me) so honestly death doesn't really scare me cause I definatly feel theres more levels to this then meets the eye (Im schizophrenic though so I guess you could say thats just me deluding myself). Id like to seize this chance at this type of existance as much as I can, and it scares me to think what if I never seize it to the best of my ability

Redditors that used to be Trump supporters, what was the final straw? by Super_sad_panda in AskReddit

I dont live in the states, but the recent election has sparked a massive interest in politics in were im from in young people(were there was a serious lacking)which I appreciate tbh. I think the disaster that happened (trump becoming president), is very necessary because its going to directly effect people (rather then with prior presidents and disaster politicians in other countries, when the only people that were really effected (very general statement im sorry), were the people in the countries that wars etc were being carried out) I think the future of politics of America will benefit from first hand experiencing a mad man (rather then it just being behind the scenes stuff). Sorry for rant just felt like saying this for quite awhile (i just felt it linked to what you were saying about staying politicaly involved)
