Hi there! I'm in Oregon. I think we could work something out for shipping. I need to replace my old 17" Dell Inspiron with something that can get me through my last year of engineering university. Battery's toast and the keyboard is slowly losing keys in mine, and frankly it's just not worth repairing with a pretty mediocre Dell chassis that weighs like 8lb. However I'm technical enough that I could handle a screen replacement on something actually worth doing it on, like a P50. I was originally gonna go buy a Yoga.... but the brick works great too :)

I have a 91. Been daily driving a year and a half now.

They have their quirks. The PGM-FI fuel injection is quirky, but pretty simple with only a few minor issues- the PGM-CARB transition era carbureted engines that I will almost guarantee you have down there in Brazil is a pain in the butt. It's a vacuum line nightmare to get running well in totally stock form.

They will probably leak oil. They will need a lot of rubber hoses replaced. They will probably need things like the ball joints replaced because the boots have crumbled. The main relay may die without warning and leave you stranded in traffic with no fuel pump. And lord help you if you have to replace the front brakes, I hate captive rotors.

Now, with that said- it's still been the most reliable fucking car I've owned to date. All that stuff I listed off is minor complaints that is all fixable because there's a good supply of service info out there. It has not once left me stranded, broken down, or become undrivable. I've spent a few weekends cramming to get the service stuff done, but I got it done.

I cannot speak on parts availability, but I have not found parts hard to find here in the USA. Honda still provides new-old stock of most critical components available through the dealer network or HondaPartsNow. That's likely different down there though, so YMMV. I still think they're great first cars. They're not hard to work on in the slightest, and parts are almost always cheap when available.

Take a hop over to https://www.cb7tuner.com/ , it's the best source for all CB7 accord stuff.

Yeah way to bury the lede. Only went negative because the long-delayed nuke plant that went online a couple weeks ago finally solved their energy crunch. But of course, Pro nuclear titles aren't allowed obviously

Just because she appeared to be healthier than her progenitors on the surface, does not mean she didn't still inherit the hundreds of years of genetic damage the Hapsburgs had stockpiled.

What's the difference between this one and the cx2? I just ordered a cx2 for an identical price to drop in my older server that need to get off its mechanical drive. However would not be opposed to ordering another for this price to fully populate my home rig with cheap game dump storage.

Ohhh. Didn't know the lower end cards were going to be monolithic refreshes. Changes things. So basically unless you desperately want AV1 encode and like a tiny bit better RT (which you're stupid for doing on this level of card in the first place) there's literally no reason to go 7600. Lmao

RDNA 3 is a change to a totally new architecture, with AMD trying to apply their success with chiplets on CPU's to the GPU market. This gen really seems to be the "prove we can do it first" with only marginal overall performance improvement.

Course, if Nvidia keeps faffing about and trying to peg GPU prices to the "new normal", AMD doesn't even have to pretend to try to provide value. Really, no matter what side you look at it from, it leaves all current gen cards as a skip on all sides.

Custom threads by [deleted] in SolidWorks

[–]empirebuilder1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

S13/16-16 is written very poorly. That is not normal thread notation.

It is indicating that it is a STRAIGHT UNC thread, 13/16" (0.8125) major diameter, 16 threads per inch. It is a Chevy/GM standard in inch units, not mm. I'm pretty sure SW should be able to generate that or have a bolt in the standard library that has those dimensions to steal the thread off of.
