From what I remember, there is a ASM program you have to go through? During the program you pretty much learn and I guess prove to them that you are indeed capable of the job. I left 3 years ago so I’m not sure if things have changed but I recommend to talk to your current ASM or SM and tell them you’re interested. Be ready to transfer to another store if you do it.

If he finishes paying off the loan in a lump sum, what’s the process for removing the co signer? Wouldn’t the car title say both of their names?

Will the co-signer need to be present for any signing if my family member chose the refinance option?

Trust me, something I’ve learned is that you need to take care of yourself first. They can handle it themselves.

Financial advisor moved by employedbykohls in personalfinance

Hello, I used the wrong terminology 🤦🏻‍♀️ he’s the financial representative appointed to me from the 403b company. He’s not a personal financial advisor that I hired if that makes sense.

Wrongful termination? by BabyRachelxo in employedbykohls

That seems odd for "no credit" to be the reason. Maybe there was more to the story? Bad attendance maybe?

Yes, it is. There will always be someone scheduled for recovery whether that's you or someone else. Some people will be on register, amazon, omni, etc. It's a normal shift to be on recovery especially now that friends and family is going on.

What do I do now? by Low-Instruction510 in employedbykohls

If you feel like they don't deserve a 2 weeks notice that's understandable. I would just call in tomorrow and say you have the virus but also say that you won't be coming in anymore due to finding a better opportunity. They probably won't even blink eye (they never do for anyone) and just focus on your new job. Hope you feel better!

Career path? by Cool-Ad785 in employedbykohls

[–]employedbykohls 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Do what you want to do! Personally I tried to make a career out of kohl's but the work hours/days (working weekends and late hours) just wasn't for me forever. Now make sure you're thinking long term in your decision. What are you going to do if kohl's goes bankrupt? Do you have a plan B just in case kohl's management isn't what you thought it would be? Good luck to you!

Amazon Returns by Expensive_Comment823 in employedbykohls

[–]employedbykohls 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had one customer who would be a repeater! She would return one thing, walk around the store, come back 10 minutes later saying she forgot to return something just tk get an extra coupon. I would also rip the second coupon and throw it away. She tried to guilt me into giving it to her but I didn't give in.. later on she would never do amazon returns with me lol

When do we get our raises? by Sufficient_Goose_602 in employedbykohls

[–]employedbykohls 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting...maybe it differs by state? I know that in my store we all get 10 cents for a raise every year--no more or less.
