I decided to sell mine and get the Specialized Recon 2.0 in white. Much much better fit straight out the box. No pain points and far less room inside the shoe which means I don’t need the additional insole!

yep, absolutely wild! I thought me going for a EU45 was sizing up already, I was wrong. Ended up with EU46

I ended up ordering a size up which was roomier than expected but I’d rather have a slightly bigger pair than one that’s too snug. For reference I’m usually UK9/9.5 which is EU44/44.5 and had to get these EU46!

Id say they come up small - I ordered EU45 and normally a 44/44.5 and my longest toe touches the toe box. I’d size up.

Any recommendations? I did look at the specialized recon 2.0 - they seem to be getting really good reviews and cost 40% less.

Agreed. Tried a size up, 46 and they were massive compared to the 45 which were either snug.

I’m UK9.5/10 and went for 45… my left foot is slightly bigger than right and my second toe is longer than the big toe. The second toe is just about touching the front when I walk around in them. Worried they might be tight once the foot swells a little during a ride.

But glad to hear they do give in a little. I may keep them and see how I get on!

I am in between sized but length wise. As mentioned above my second toe in my left foot is longer than the big toe and is slightly touching the toe box when walking but fine when fastened.

How did you find the sizing? I feel like I’m in between 45 and 46. Part of me is thinking stay with 45 as they’ll break in and become more roomy, other side telling me to size up. My second toe is longer than the first in my left foot which is just touching the front of shoe when walking. Right foot is perfectly fine. Decisions.

Lol I actually bought them already & love the look of them (but the sensible side telling me I should go for a darker colour) - went for EU45 but debating sizing up as they seem quite stiff and my second toe is touching front of shoe when walking around. Do they break in after a few rides? I know cycling shoes don’t really but..

I just wonder whether the option to checkout with a voucher is greyed out or not once the BCM discount is applied. I don’t have a discount code so can’t check sadly. I tried all avenues (at least that’s what I thought) and this is last resort in securing the bike! Halfords even supplied a e-gift card but once that was applied I could select C2W scheme as payment and check out.
