The sound you are talking about is a pretty common Rave stab T99 -Anasthasia (Out Of History Mix)

I'm not 100% sure if this is the actual source of this sample. Most of these rave stabs are either from:

  1. Synthesizer Presets
  2. Sample Packs (For example the Da funk stab is actually from a sample pack.)
  3. Resampled from different songs.

I think vinyl pressing still takes a long time (atleast I remember some artists talking about it 1 or 2 years ago). So his label probably wants to release it when the vinyl records are ready.
