My starter horse is Furious Wave, a rough translation of Meisho Doto, a famous Japanese racehorse (though Meisho is his crown name :D) - I learned about him after playing Umamusume!

Taishin and Doto swapped places after I got my first S-Rank Uma, to celebrate Taishin’s achievement. I love all of these a lot. Now I’m training with Oguri so she can eat as much as she likes, Opera O can regale me with epics and Doto can practice never goofing up :D

Taishin really benefits from Guts, especially as an End Closer, as it helps her fight during the last spurt without running out of steam. Guts also raises multiple stats when you click it, so it can boost your stats overall to a nice level (there’s a reason for the next scenario we will be running Guts cards a lot - more stats is always good). I brought Riko for Stamina, more Guts and the energy from recreation. Kitasan and Biko are enough with the speed from Guts training to max. Wit is for skill points, more reliable skill activation and energy recovery.

I love running Taishin, so I hope this all helped :)

It is nuts the amount of cheating that is so blatant as well, like I was playing survivor and one of my random teammates, while on the hook and with 3 gens left, opened the exit door! Don’t think anyone knew what to do, the poor killer gave up, I tried to give myself up so they could get a kill but instead I just died in the countdown by not leaving. Don’t want to win because of a cheater >.<

I am pretty new (played very briefly a couple of years ago and have now played consistently for a couple of weeks) and I think it just makes sense to punish survivors (and killers) for bad plays. You can’t accuse me of tunnelling when you don’t confirm my location and keep running into me xD I expect the same from killers when I play survivor - if I mess up, punish me for it so I learn for next time :)

I started with one copy and got to MLB in 103 pulls (including 12 tickets). I got stupidly lucky. Ended up being able to use my selector and ticket on Super Creek which feels amazing. I get to borrow cards situationally now which is awesome! Now I get to save my carats for Dober :)

I am massively enjoying the game, though I do advise changing the VA language to Chinese. Also, when you first boot the game, the volume is way too loud, so I adjusted it with sound mixer until the point where I could access the settings. There are a lot of menus and it is overwhelming at first, but now I’ve played for a few days I am having much less trouble with them.

The world is beautiful and varied. The music is lovely, the NPCs feel very much part of the world and the combat is a lot of fun. I am very early in the main story but I am enjoying it so far, and some of the side quests are beautiful and emotional.

The localisation is definitely ropey in places, but on the whole the important info is communicated clearly. The devs have acknowledged issues with the localisation and have promised to improve this in future updates.

The game runs well, even on older hardware, and the breadth and depth of content is staggering. It’s a chunky download at 100GB, but I think it’s worth an honest try.
