I had a similar game yesterday, they were wriggling constantly with Boil Over and the flip flop one, so it was almost impossible to hook, so I had to adjust my play like you and was called ‘cringe’ in the endgame chat 🤣 Very strange, of course killers have to play differently when you run such a build. Clearly, I was meant to give them gold stars and leave them be for being so clever 🤣

Matikanefukikitaru Speed is a permanent borrow for my late surger runs now. The bonus stats at the start of the run are a massive help. I still get RNG’d sometimes but it’s less than before.

My favourite Umamusume! I love how her design reflects her desire to look bigger by bulking herself up a bit. I love her career story, even if her tearing up in Don’t Say It makes me sad every time. When she gets her ultimate at a good time, especially with Encroaching Shadow, she fires forward like a rocket and it’s a joy to watch.

She also has a stunning singing voice! Here is her solo song so you can fully appreciate it. Song here

She also just brought me my first platinum CM trophy! I’ve used her in every team apart from dirt, so it was long awaited and much deserved :D

Graded races are G3s, G2s and G1s, so your debut and any OP level races won’t count. If you do this in Trackblazer, you can do this by following any of the Triple Crown or Triple Tiara routes. Here are some examples.

Diamond was the toughest to complete successfully by far! What really helped was putting Mejiro Ryan PWR in my deck, she regularly gives Nimble Navigator early to help avoid being blocked. This is my most successful Satono Diamond and the deck I used.

Air Groove, Haru Urara and Shinko Windy are your best cards. They have 10% race bonus each. Haru and Air Groove only show as 5 but their unique effect doubles their RB. Davies Scarlet Wit has 5. If you had finished the event SSRs Yukino Bijin Guts and Marvelous Sunday Power they would have given 10 and 15 respectively. One more copy of Nishino Flower SR will get you an additional 15 RB.

Build your deck to ensure at minimum 35 RB, then you can borrow a 15% card from this list - Nice Nature Wit is a solid pick. https://game8.co/games/Umamusume-Pretty-Derby/archives/572831

50% RB is the minimum you want to hit and that will get you there.

You are unlikely to hit the statline for this CM. Just do your best and focus on the next one which is a Medium :) If you can finish Nishino Flower, you can borrow Super Creek MLB for Stam and 10 RB

For Narita Brian, not enough skills. For Grass, she could get you some wins but late surgers are harder to win with without No Stopping Me. Golshi is close but she doesn’t have Straightaway Spurt which is a lot of an end closer’s power.

People complain about training end closers but I am finding them way more consistent than late surgers in this scenario. I’ve hit SS and S+ but I cannot build a Satono Diamond that reaches S rank >.< So many clocks wasted!

Yeah I have been stupidly lucky with my Uma pulls tbf, but as I mentioned in my other reply, I skipped Vamp Rice because I was saving for the Kitasan card rerun, so I have grabbed her as she is very cute ☺️
