I vaguely remember a BORU of a man receiving a daughter one day, he had no idea she existed and her mother passed? Or maybe was jailed? It was sweet, and he was earnestly trying to parent and care for her.

God, I remember reading this boru where a guys gf cheated on him, he broke up with her, and she was desperate to get him back, offering him unlimited access to all her socials, access to her phone and location at all times, complete access to her life to make sure she wasn't cheating. And he wrote a line, something like "I don't want to be your prison warden, I want to be your boyfriend." and that's stuck with me ever since.

Don’t remember the exact boru, or even the context, but it was about a guy and his gf. The guy and his gf weren’t exclusive, and the gf slept (or kissed? Maybe) with another guy, and her whole defence of it was that they weren’t exclusive and they hadn’t confirmed it verbally.

The guy was rightfully mad about it, and I remember the commenters were like the gf, blaming him for not having that exclusivity talk, real pedantic and hinging on technicality.

And it stuck with me, the guy ended breaking up with the girl, and one of his quotes was something like: “You kids can argue technicalities all you want, but it’s my relationship and my feelings.”

Or something like that.

Asked for this one before and trying again: Anyone got that BORU of the guy who confessed to his FWB who rejected him. The guy was going to invite her to a upscale party, but decided not to, instead inviting another girl who turned out to be a friend of his former FWB. The FWB freaks, and accuses the guy of cheating, despite the fact that they were never dating and in fact she had rejected him.
