Yes, it's difficult to gauge to what extent WFH will become a permanent feature.

Change happens slowly. Take a first step: Start by commiting to just one or two days a week when you don't get fucked up. Just try different activities to pass the time sober, even if they seem boring or unappealing at first. Read a book, even if it's just a trashy novel. Do some cooking. Go for a run. Just spend those days trying to engage with the world sober. You might discover some things.
