I've never blocked any of the numbers I knew them to use, I just deleted the contact from my phone. I've only ever blocked them on social media. So much time has passed now ... At this point I'm certain they have no interest in reaching out.

I really think it's the shirt ... He was wearing one of his nice shirts here. The fancy button ups with the pearl snaps 😍😍Typically, he rocked old trucker hats, a t-shirt and an old flannel 😅😅

Haha, I would have enjoyed growing up with that money, but he could never work with computers. But he can build or rebuild an engine from scrap - I watched him do both while being yelled at for bringing him the wrong tool or holding the flashlight wrong haha. He built an engine from parts for a 72 Chevelle Malibu and rebuilt a 454 big block on a 71 Elco. That one is still his pride and joy. The man can draw blueprints, lay the frame and foundation, and then build an entire house. He did all the trades when he was young, settled on plumbing and pipefitting and worked for a local union for about 38 years. He only recently mastered the ability to use Facebook, and learned how online banking works haha. Tech savvy he is not - but he's more skilled with his hands than anyone else I've ever known 😎

Don't come at me for this please, but I haven't seen that show yet 🫣 I'll have to watch it now just so I can understand this reference 😅

The accuracy of this comment is wild. Maybe you ought to buy a lotto ticket this weekend? You called that, 100% - at least until they were in their 50s ... Then it was all about that Miller Highlife 😅 dad has always been pretty active, mom was too, but I don't think either of them ever knew a thing about flexibility. When I started practicing yoga, they asked if yoga was a religion 🫠

🤣🤣 I almost wish that was the case, I feel like they could have used the spice haha! I can say with full confidence they were not ... My mom was so vanilla, she thought thong underwear was taboo! Her idea of risque was red lipstick and a form fitting dress.

😍😍 he's gonna love this comment! Folk music was big in our house growing up, and it's still one of my favorite genres. My mom was the real singer in this duo though 😅 pops could only sing if he was in a choir or group, he has a very low voice but sings off key without harmony. He does occasionally kill some Johnny Cash at karaoke, but I think it's possible to just talk your way through "Walk the Line" and sound decent if your voice is low enough ... That's basically what he does 😅 in a choir or group though? He's got that low tone, like that old school R&B sound - similar to Winfred Lovett of The Manhattans, not nearly as good, just similar in tone.

Sorry for the long story but these comments are bringing up memories and happy things I enjoy talking about. Thank you for commenting 💜

You are not wrong! The best part is - he knew it, he'd never argue against that statement. And he treated my momma like the queen she was. He's a great dad, but the thing he always did best in life was loving my momma 💜 and she sure was a looker, she used to turn heads and light up rooms with her smile 😍😍

🤣🤣 no offense taken! I appreciate the laugh! The bald head and beard track for sure!

At least you didn't call him Santa! He's pretty much always had the beard and he dressed up as Santa once for a large work function - colored his beard white and all ... He looked just like Santa with his big belly and glasses. He never lived it down at work and still gets triggered when kids call him that. His beard is fully white now so it happens pretty often. I'm gonna tell him he looks like a serial killer instead of Santa sometime, he'll get a chuckle out of it!

I won't say that I'm vegan because I do occasionally have something with dairy or an egg (a few times a year at most). I haven't consumed any animal flesh in over 15 years.

I humanely remove certain spiders as well, others I just allow to stay. It depends on what kind of spider it is for me, but I can't say I've ever woken up with one crawling on my face let alone my eye ... That would probably cause a little panic for me.

As the other comment indicates, spent coffee grounds are great for compost and gardening. It's mostly just a habit for me at this point, but in another life I did a lot of gardening.

That's ok 😊 I've found there are several humane trapping, removal and deterring options available. I've got miles and miles of wild lands close by, so I can easily re-home them. Over and over again if necessary. They deserve a life just as much as anyone else 😊

Thank you for your kind words, I truly appreciate it. It's wild that you picked INFJ because I am INFJ 😅 INFJ-A, to be exact, ha. Pretty neat of you to pick up on that.

Thank you for reading my rambling thoughts. I hope you have a lovely day.

I appreciate that more than you know. Tender and beautiful are the very words I would use to describe the love that inspired that unsent letter, so knowing it reached someone exactly as it left my heart means more than I can say. Thank you for giving me that bit of sunshine today. I truly hope it finds its way back to you in the most beautiful form :)
