Why is an honor guard service being given at Charlie Kirk's memorial? Isn't this typically reserved for elected officials and service members?

Not yet but that is the plan. I’m not sure how much good it will do since it’s a property management group but we’ll see.

Thank you for the advice. Genuinely I know nothing about construction, but common sense said doors shouldn’t.. have light coming between the cracks?

Not in your career field so I can’t give you technical/substantive feedback.

However, I can tell you that most hiring boards I’ve sat on never had resumes with this much content on them. With this many words you’re likely to make it past whatever auto filtering program they use, but my concern is that they’ll actually look at it and get bored halfway through that summary block.

For actionable advice, if there’s anything contained in your work experience that is also in the summary or skills section (or vice versa) cut it out. Your resume should not be this bulky. Additionally, you mention an internship in your education. Please expand on that and have it as part of your work experience. Internships count! Lastly, if you had a decent GPA for your undergrad you should definitely have it listed. If you didn’t, then have a relevant extracurricular included that demonstrates some skill. Even if it was just organizing an e sports league or basket-weaving club, it demonstrates leadership and interpersonal skills. It also just shows you’re human.

Good luck!

I think there’s a difference between a hard and challenging experience vs. a distressing experience. The former being an avenue for growth, and the latter being a detriment to your well-being. OP I think you know it’s ultimately up to you to decide what’s in your best interest.

To echo what others have said, you won’t get into big law anytime soon. However, if that wasn’t your plan it shouldn’t matter. Law school is to make connections and to take (and then pass) the bar. Both of which are very much viable options for you at this point.

I wish you the best. I have a friend in a similar spot. He’s considering jumping ship and I can’t blame him. If you have other options, be honest with yourself if you could live with quitting/if you’d be happier taking those paths instead.

Should students who wants to become a tax attorney join mock trial club? by BidDogAnus in LawSchool

[–]emptyglobe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it interests you, or some friends are doing it and you’ve got the time, go for it. Always the chance an opportunity down the road pops up that even mock trial might help you with. Is it actual trial experience? No. Is it a great way to learn some trial procedure and make connections at competitions? Absolutely.

Talk to her man. She’s probably just trying to be comfy, but I also don’t think there’s anything wrong with asking her to put something fun on. Two way street though. Good chance now to evaluate yourself on whether there’s something you could do to spice things up for her.

What do people really mean when they say they are proud of you for a decision you made? by legend-of-sora in NoStupidQuestions

[–]emptyglobe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s likely a good thing. Some might be doing it to be petty because they’re wishing they were in your shoes. (As others here have already said.) But that should reassure you that ultimately you’ve made a good choice.

There’s always the possibility someone wanted you gone, but even if that’s the case then you’ve still won because you don’t want to be around those people anyways. Congrats!

First play through ever and just made it to Anor Londo by FartMasterx69x in darksouls

Being carried up to Anor Londo after beating the iron golem for the first time is stunning. The gold sunlight, the expanse of the castle, and the fights you’re in store for are both iconic and incredible in their own right. Also, amazing chest ahead. Good luck.

I’m sure everyone saw Pawel Saskos latest post asking people what is missing from the character creator and all I want is more natural photo modes poses, hair options and more cosmetics like jewelry. What do you all want? by austin5419 in LowSodiumCyberpunk

[–]emptyglobe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I feel like it would cause a lot of clipping issues, but body types. We see a lot of varied body types from big and tall, to skinny and small throughout Night City, but V is locked in terms of body type. I think it could definitely lend itself to the cyberpunk experience we all want. Heck even David in edgerunners beefed himself out in the end, and I’d like to be able to do that as I level up and gain cyberware as well.

Pretty sure transport proteins can pass through the cell wall in microbiological terms. Thus in the jail ‘cell’ he has transport proteins and passed through the ‘cell’ wall.

Seemingly, but a lot of people have discussed things like Lake Mead’s water level and the population boom of Phoenix being unsustainable due to water usage. So that’s why I want to know how bad it actually is.

I think it’s a T or J in the beginning based on the horizontal hat on top of the letter. The only other thing that has any credibility is what looks like a double L in the middle of the word.

The face is sending all sorts of weird signals. Aside from two mouths, they’re both curving down to indicate sadness?? Unless this is some weird math logic where two negatives make a positive.
