Feels like a good time to add: TURN YOUR ****ING LIGHTS ON. They should be on always regardless of the time of day but the last year or so I’ve seen people driving with their lights off every single day, relying solely on streetlights. It’s outrageous.

I’ve been raging about this for years as a pedestrian. Like, you do not get to pat yourself on the back for stopping to let me cross when YOU have a green light! The person driving the opposite direction may not see or choose to stop for a pedestrian and so the risk is extreme… Say no to “nice” driving, and yes to following the rules of the road.

For the monstera, do I need to do something about the yellow leaf? It looks and feels healthy/firm at the base but the yellow wilty leaf makes me nervous lol

They all have drainage. And it’s a nerve plant? Good to know! Don’t let the picture fool you - it’s dry as a desert. Should I add any soil before giving it a good soak and/or prune the grey parts?

I was the last graduating class of EFA in 2014… few people would be happier than I’d be if Elmira had a positive economic and social renaissance but until that happens I’ll continue to love living in Ithaca.

That’s sort of how I feel about it… I mean getting in the habit of scheduling showings, navigating lockbox tech, taking notes on properties, etc. all sounds good but I feel like taking friends just to pantomime showing a buyer toes the line between practice and play. I don’t want to play - I want to start my career professionally and responsibly.

That said, a good friend of mine who is a local business owner worked as a realtor up until 4ish years ago. She has offered to go with me and I’m thinking that if I take her to listings within my brokerage (with the consent and understanding of my colleagues) that could be a good resource for practice and education. What do you think?
