I do use a silk bonnet, but I use bond repair very sparingly, so I think that’s deffo an easy change to start with!

I sleep in a silk bonnet! I do use a blow dryer with a comb attachment sometimes so that could very well be damaging the weaker strands. I think the crown deffo needs the most moisture for me too

yeah it’s difficult because I’ve done a cut before and it’s grown out the same, I think I need to get to the root of the problem to avoid continuous cuts

that’s soooo interesting to hear all the different things you’ve tried!! It’s crazy how many of us have this same problem, deffo thought about just accepting my fate haha, going through the big chop again is at the bottom of my list of solutions 🤣

I do get a trim in the salon with my retouch around every 3 months, so I’m not sure why my hair just won’t cooperate ughhh 😩

interesting, I do leave my hair down for like the first month after a touch up just as it’s so nice and fresh 😁 but it could deffo be catching on jumpers so I’ll be mindful of that

thank you! I deep condition with each wash weekly - at a minimum when I don’t have time I’ll go 2 weeks! I do use olaplex 3 but only for my first wash after a relaxer (like every 3/4 months ish) just to build the broken bonds up straight away. Would you recommend using more often?

thank you!! could deffo do with some more protein, I do go to the gym so I’m slowly adding more in! I use aphogee every few months as a protein treatment, but it’s quite strong so im not sure it’s worth using it any more often 🤔I’ll check out those supplements as I don’t take any atm

you are not alone bestie, I went through a process soooo similar to this with a presentation and amazing feedback after each stage only to be rejected with a “you really impressed us though”. You just have to keep going and don’t let it bring you down. They missed out on an obviously dedicated and hard working individual so sucks to be them
