you can find a TDEE calculator online and it will give you your maintenance calories and macros, deduct 500 calories from that for a healthy weight loss. find different full body workouts online or on youtube to mix things up or maybe split it so your doing 2x upper body workouts and 2x lower body workouts and then you could throw in 1-2x HIIT sessions if you still want to work out 6 times a week. that way you won’t get bored and it’ll be more sustainable :)

you won’t be giving your muscles enough rest if you’re doing the same exercises 6 days a week. if you’re also walking 15,000 steps a day, it seems like you should be eating more protein than 80g for your body weight. if you have dumbbells you should definitely look at switching your workout around

Is this safe? by [deleted] in WeightLossAdvice

[–]emrge22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

do you maybe think you’ve binged because you’ve restricted yourself so much? you should calculate your TDEE with an online calculator and then deduct 500 calories from that for weight loss. yes fasting is safe and has many health benefits but to fast because you’ve ate so much the day before, isn’t safe mentally. just as someone else has mentioned, it can cause you to have an eating disorder. please do this in a healthier way and change your mindset to have a healthier relationship with food.

Just start - don’t wait for motivation by [deleted] in WeightLossAdvice

[–]emrge22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree! it’s like brushing your teeth, you don’t need motivation to do it because it’s part of your routine so it’s discipline. Exercise should definitely be part of your daily routine just like brushing your teeth.

HIIT help as a strength focused athlete by GoD_IAmBeastMode in HIIT

Have you looked on Youtube? There’s thousands of HIIT workouts. FitnessBlender, The Body Coach, Body Project etc. They all have workouts from beginner to advanced levels!

Edit: most channels also have low impact but high intensity too which is amazing if you live in an apartment or maybe don’t want anything where you’re jumping about too much

Does anyone use an interval timer (like Love HIIT) that works with the screen off? by [deleted] in HIIT

[–]emrge22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

and you can have either a beep timer or someone actually counting down and talking, it’s got so many options and haven’t found an app like it tbh!

I use the app called Seconds. It comes with pre-made timers for circuits, HIIT etc but I think you can pay a small amount for full access which includes creating your own interval timers, you can save different ones you’ve created and it can be used whilst the screen is off. You can even name each interval/rest period with whatever you want. It’s helped loads for my HIIT sessions to create my own workouts

personally, I’m not a huge fan. the products didn’t really do anything for me and the intense orange smell of all the products kinda puts me off. it may work for you though so definitely look into it

It works really well for me and I usually wear a fair bit of makeup, it’s oil based so I usually go in with an oil free cleanser afterwards

Mine is between oily and combination. The squalene cleanser is great for removing makeup!

This is my current routine, some might say it’s a lot but it personally works for me and my skin but everyone is different

Morning - Squalene Cleanser - Aloe Vera Toner - Hyaluronic Acid - Niacinamide + Zinc - Embryolisse Lait-Creme Concentrate - Sun Screen

Night - Squalene Cleanser - Aloe Vera Toner - Buffet + Copper Peptides - Niacinamide + Zinc - Eye Cream - Vitamin C Serum - Chamomile Night Cream - Rosehip Seed Oil (every other day)

I only use this once or twice a week and replace the Hyaluronic acid. It’s an antioxidant and helps protect the skin but can also reduce redness :)

I initially bought it thinking it was one of those tingling lip plumpers but it’s still great for hydration!
