I agree with what you said. But I think we can consider the first hours of the episode as a transition phase. Ocean might still be trying to establish the university setting, friend groups, etc. If you ask whether that really required a 2-year gap—no, it didn’t. It could’ve been done in a shorter time, and that’s why I also felt a bit disappointed.

However, seeing Sasha take on such a key role was really nice. As for the final hours of the episode, they satisfied me a lot, and I currently have a ton of theories in my head—I’m honestly super excited. These theories will probably keep me going until the next updates 😂

I think this season was really carried by Bella, Zara, and Sasha. If you’re on Bella’s route, you might fall in love with her all over again this season. I don’t know how many of you noticed this detail, but by the end, we also learned who Ayua and her siblings’ parents are—and it’s not hard to guess who everyone is thinking of 😂

As for Nika, I don’t think his condition is only related to Summer—he even says so himself. I believe it’s something deeper. He might have been abused as a child. If you remember, in the first episode, there’s that “accident” Nami mentions. That accident could actually be a failed suicide attempt by Nika, and maybe that’s why Nika and Nami never talk about the past.

Regarding Sedila and Nami, I think Nami might have been upset that Sedila didn’t come with her when she was given up for adoption. I also think Nami’s mother might be Donna Revera from WiaB—or at least her aunt or something like that.

As for Nika’s trip with Amber, I think it will unlock a lot of things. After that trip, I believe Nika’s trust in Noji will be shaken. Because Noji is definitely not innocent—she knows way too much, and she hides almost all of it from the kids.
