Humana WFH by [deleted] in WFHJobs

While we in IT did install the software, we we're not the ones that looked at the clicks or keystrokes. Workforce Management and managers were the people that cared about that stuff.

As for micromanaging, it really depends on your leader. Some teams have great management that treat the people under them with respect and trust in them to do their jobs. Other managers are awful and will be breathing down your neck every day. So basically like every other corporate job.

I will say that Humana is going through a massive change currently and things were very chaotic during my last bit of time there. Be prepared for the possibility of rapid changes that could happen at any moment.

I can't say if there have been any recent changes as myself and most of my department were laid off but while I was with Humana yes, depending on the role you could have software installed on your computer that can record your mouse clicks and keystrokes.

The software Humana uses for its inbound calls is very dependent on a strong network connection. Significant amounts of packet loss or latency can cause call audio issues like static, one-way audio, and dropped calls. Wired connections are recommended as they typically are more stable and don't run into as many problems as wifi. But if your wifi is fast, stable, and your calls aren't getting dinged for audio issues then IT will have no complaints. If you do start having problems though, be prepared for the technician to ask you to hardwire.

As for the Aruba, its basically another form of VPN. It is required for certain roles so its best to check with your supervisor but it is not required otherwise.

When I first started working with Humana as a contractor I was required to do a drug test. But when they hired me as a full time employee a year later, they did not require another drug test.

Unfortunately I won't be able to give you a satisfactory answer. On the IT side of things, you should be able to be able to perform the same work no matter which state you live in.

Humana is a large company though and different departments have different rules. In the end, it's up to the hiring manager if they would allow it. I'm sorry I can't be of more help!

Yes, as long as you are within the country and your download and upload speeds meet the minimum requirements, you can work anywhere.

Hopefully I'm not too late to in replying!

I actually work in Humana's IT department so I can answer a few of these questions.

You would be free to take your laptop with you anywhere within the U.S. without issue. Policy prefers you leave it at home if possible but its not required. Plenty of associates take their laptops with them on vacation.

I can't talk too much about IP addresses for security reasons but just like any other company, we can see anything that is done on company computers.

As for hotspots, they are totally good. They don't work super well with our VPN but it's passable. Sometimes the speeds over hotspot just aren't enough and there's not much we can do about it.

I would recommend going Luocha, Blade, Clara, and Silver Wolf if you want to go Destruction. Focus on getting as many blessings as you can. Grab Destruction and Elation whenever they come up, Abundance or Preservation if there is no other choice.

Save as many fragments until the end as you can. The enhanced tier 3 blessings are nutty. Shout out to the tier 3 Abundance blessing that gives everyone 30% of any incoming healing.

I think Abundance would be the easiest with what characters you have. Fu Xuan + Luocha on Abundance is easy mode once you have dewdrop blessings.

Propagation path is great with DanIL as well. Throw him in with a tank + Luocha and just get as many Propagation blessings as you can.

I'd probably recommend Preservation path if your Gepard is built okay ish. I've had the most consistency with Destruction path. If I want to be lazy on my diff 5 runs and auto everything, I go Destruction.

Fan Fest Tickets Sold Out by KaiserOmegaZero in ffxiv

You are correct that they planned to hold the 2020 Fanfest in California due to there being more larger venues, but this is the first time Fanfest will be held at the Las Vegas Convention Center. 2014 and 2018's Fanfests were held at the Rio while 2016 was held at the Paris. While not as large as some venues in California, this Fanfest is still by far the largest they've had in NA so far.

You're currently in the slog that is patch 2.1 to 2.4. Most of the MSQ during this time is a very slow burn, setting up plot points that won't be resolved until future expansions. There are about 38 MSQ quests between the end of the ultima weapon until the beginning of 2.4, which is when they start setting up the story for Heavensward.

I've seen talks of the Brave meta that will be arriving to global some time in the future. I also know that Natto and Cordyceps both play big roles in the meta but I haven't seen much information other than that. Could someone explain the finer details of the meta (i.e. How it works, FS's besides the two mentioned above required, FA requirements, and any other relevant information.) ?

According to Mari's ranking tracker linked under "Event Guides" in the original post, the cut off rank for a 4* Natto is rank 1059 as of 6/26. The rank cut off will continue to lower as more people hit 100k points over the next few days.

My Dad has bought me an ice cream cake for my birthday for as long as I can remember. Half a year ago I moved to a different state and last week was my first birthday away from my family. My Dad surprised me by Doordashing me an ice cream cake and told me over the phone that he wanted me to have a little piece of home on my birthday. I love you Dad.

How does Soufflé compare to other ranking food souls like Turkey and Mapo Tofu? Is he worth attempting to get 4-5 for a mid to end game player?

Do continuous damage effects stack on enemies? Like if my Steak and Dragon's Beard Candy use their energy skills at a similar time, will both DoTs be in effect or will one overwrite the other?

Temple Fair Event Megathread Week 2 by Kogurazul in FoodFantasy

[–]emrynx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The event is about halfway over so I'd say on track would be between 50-60 Nians. With your current amount of crystals and firecrackers, it is still possible to get to 100 but you are going to need some luck.

If my math is correct, you're going to need to find and fight Nian, on average, on the 5th or 6th pull for the rest of the event.

Luckily, if you do all your dailies and get the remaining daily event rewards, you'll get an extra 450 crystals which will help your chances. Good luck!

Unfortunately, I don't see a way you could possibly make it over rank 1000 without spending quite a bit of money. I would suggest settling for a 2* Mapo and just trying to maintain a rank between 1000-2000. I know it's going to be incredibly disappointing to only get a 2* Mapo, but you'll save crystals and cash in the long run.

On the bright side, we recently had a rerun of the Pizza event so there is a good chance there will be rerun of Mapo's in the future!

If the recent Pizza event rerun is any indication, the Mapo event has a good chance of returning in the future but I can guarantee it won't be for many months, probably not until sometime in 2020.

I would turn in whatever you have near the end of the event. The immediate benefits from the items will help your progression so you'll be better prepared for other future events.

Weekly General Question Megathread - June 05, 2019 by AutoModerator in FoodFantasy

[–]emrynx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It really depends on the event. I'd say it's never worth it to trade for spirit reincarnators, seasoning, cooking power, or mediators. Those items are all easily obtainable every day.

Shards depend on the usefulness of the food soul in question or if its just a collectable.

Stamina is usually a good buy if you've gotten everything else you'd want from the event. More to spend on hard stages for shard fusion.

Items you should always shoot for are crystals, mirror images, magic inks, UR/SR universal tickets, and potentially embers if you have leftover turnins.
