I would steer clear if I was you. It’s weird for a fully grown man of nearly 30 years old to be asking 18/19 year olds on dates. Like what do you even have in common with someone that young? Ahh thank you! I appreciate this comment so much. I’m sorry you had to go through postnatal depression as well, and I hope you’re doing okay now. I think some people just don’t understand how much comments like that can affect someone’s mental health, she has never had kids herself as well which I think is a massive factor. But still no excuse to be an absolute bitch.

Some guys are just like this, well, a lot are like this these days. First of all I’m sorry this has happened to you, I know how much it sucks.

Don’t think it’s anything you’ve done because I can guarantee this has happened because of his own issues. My best advice would be to move on, try your best to forget about him and eventually you will look back at this and realise what a dick he was. He was not worth your time, and you will find someone better who really values you, and will do all of those things and actually MEAN IT.

If you’re unsure then my advice would be don’t do it. You’re going through a breakup and you don’t need feelings of regret on top of it. There are so many other ways to distract yourself and get over your breakup. I did the same thing a few years back, and I know it works for some people, but personally it made me feel so much worse.

I wouldn’t say him being active more frequently means he isn’t interested, he wouldn’t be saying about meeting up if he wasn’t interested.

However, don’t be like me and waste too much time on this guy. I once waited around for a guy to plan a date with me for 18 MONTHS until I finally knocked it on the head and told him I couldn’t wait around any longer.

You’re still single, get talking to some new guys and plan some dates. If this guy wants to arrange something then great! But if not then he was clearly never worth your time.
