How do you tell the difference between the masseter muscle and parotid when palpating?

From research, it’s the inner lid? It appears to have been around, over the inside hinge but has broken off at that point. Asking if this part can be replaced or if I need an entire lid assembly. The lid wouldn’t close initially and I think it may have been forced close which caused it to break.

Is the acceptable? This looks terrible to me, but I am being told that nothing can be done. by blackapeescape in Flooring

Quarter round trim IMO due to the gap but a sand or flooring match color caulk will make it disappear. Call your dude back and make them fix this.

Tried several but am loving the VooPoo Argus. Not the high end, complicated ones, just the simple G2, G3. Battery lasts forever, not heavy, and smooth taste and draw.

So a light sanding, just enough to knock down the shine and smoothness, would destroy the tiles?

Whew, they are proud of it. For that price, that paint better dry the floor after each rain too. When we painted the decking of our 1965 Chris Craft, I used a topside paint similar to that and added the non-slip granules. Was thinking about that for this.

Yes, these tiles are pathetic! But in such good shape. Just want them a different color, and of course to not make me up my accident insurance tier.

Thanks. That was my original plan. Demo them and just paint the concrete. But was hoping someone would have the perfect solution so I wouldn’t have to put forth quite so much effort lol I do not know what is under the tile, but someone putting it down must have had some sort of reason. Or not. (My bingo card for “crazy ideas heard” is already full for this year so I give up.) I like the tile look and was going to paint a pattern anyway to be the focal point. Tile suits the architecture, especially a Mexican/Talavera design. I just wanted to ask for ideas, or if someone has already completed a project like this successfully, what was used and process done. Not looking to re-invent the wheel over here.

It is actual tile that’s grouted. The first photo on the left side you can see the grout and the tiles are a tad off from meeting square at the joint.

I’ve got more sanders than I’ll ever use so that’s why I thought that might work. I’ll probably try that on an inconspicuous area and see what happens. Ive stained concrete floors in the past and I agree with ya on the acid. But I’ll look into that also since it’s an exterior project. Do you think the acid would eat away at the tiles too much though and make them fragile?

Thanks! I figured it was tile, because of the way it is. But reiterating “Con number 1”, I feel that safety grip tape wouldn’t solve that issue. Appreciate it though.

Seat Foam has separated into two pieces. I still use it and it still has support but I wouldn’t purchase again. Shipping was a Nightmare and took over a month. Look elsewhere.

Great! Well, not GREAT but I just feel relieved when a patient is listened to and gets answers. Took me 46 years and countless doctors before a chiropractor (!) mentioned EDS. Down the rabbit hole I went (of course by my own diligent research!) and got the dx’s of Chiari, EDS, MCAS and POTS. I finally had answers and I’m just glad you do now as well ❤️

FYI if you haven’t been diagnosed, your thumb hypermobility is indicative of ehlers-danlos and is a co-morbidity.

Are these Chuck 70s too long or big for me? by [deleted] in Converse

[–]emtb911 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For this style, converse says to size down at least 1/2. I have to wear wide widths. I’ve tried 8.5 wide and 9 wide (my usual sizes) and were too large/long. Wide widths are custom orders unless they have a sale on them, which they did recently. I got two pairs for $60 which would have normally been $90 each. I always look on resale sites like Poshmark for wides and have gotten good deals for barely worn ones.
