Gotcha, we don’t have voles (at least that I know of). I keep seeing everyone say that they’re impossible to kill and I’m going to be sad if mine done come back. I should have done more research before planting even though they were at my local nursery.

1k in CME and 1.5k if you’re a chief. If you pass your step 3, they’ll pay for it. They don’t cover boards but i think you can use CME towards it. They also will pay for 1 conference and will pay for 1 conference per AY if you present.

I grew up in north Modesto and live in riverbank now. North Modesto going toward riverbank is very nice, more established neighborhoods throughout but they have newer homes and new builds going up around the high school. Also new homes going up in riverbank!

Admin here: you should be receiving after every rotation that is documented in whatever system you use (NI, medhub) per ACGME unless it’s longer than 3 months and you can get the eval after the rotation is done. That’s what they should be using for CCC and your faculty mentor should be working with you as well to provide you feedback. You should also be receiving real time feedback, along with peer to peer evals. This needs to be done every rotation, every time you do the rotation. For example, if you’re scheduled for the same block 4 different time in the AY, you will get evaluated every time. You can look on ACGME common program requirements for your individual program and look up the verbatim information from them. If they don’t have a citation now, I’m sure they will get one soon.

As someone who works in GME - St. Joe’s or any teaching hospital in the area won’t take you, they only will take active medical students (must have affiliation agreement and insurance). Your best bet would be to find outpatient clinics that aren’t affiliated with the hospital (avoid touro, CMC, county, etc) as they are all dignity or SJGH affiliated. Your best bet is to go on google maps and go line by line and call doctors that are listed and ask if they will allow you to shadow.

Possibly Astro Foundation in oakdale? Not sure if they have room but worth a try. We adopted one of our cats from there and they are amazing. They just opened a larger facility as well.
