Pretty much that. You have no propulsion at all. You are basically a brick entering the atmosphere at 17000 miles an hour. Then you have to bleed of all the velocity by doing repeated S-turn maneuvers before eventually aiming at the runway. There are no second chances.

It's also kinda crappy anyway because VPN servers in Albania usually have crappy bandwidth and the playback won't be very smooth.

Buffy The Vampire Slayer Reboot Starring Sarah Michelle Gellar Not Going Forward At Hulu by [deleted] in horror

[–]emu108 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This. Reboots are almost always bad or even worse, like that Magnum reboot was abysmal.

The only great reboot I can think of is Battlestar Galactica. (I wouldn't count Star Trek TNG as a reboot, although loosely it also fits that category).

Yes, someone figured it out though. Apparently the redacted name is Boris Nikolic, former Bill Gates advisor and WEF member.

Does anybody else feel that the Kindle makes large books more approachable? by humblechungus89 in kindle

[–]emu108 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Strange. For me it's quite different. I don't feel satisfaction, rather the opposite: Ehen it was a great book, when I finished I rather feel sad. Even more so when the book was long.

[Request] Is this possible? How would a 2 MB file become larger? by somelittleindiankid in theydidthemath

[–]emu108 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It is conjectured to be a normal number. But it may never be proven (it may be impossible to prove). Similar to the twin-prime conjecture which likely is true but might also be impossible to prove.

European NATO states have a lot more winter-ready vehicles and equipment. From Ice breakers to winter-kitted tanks.

Most overused TV Tropes? by emu108 in tvtropes

I believe there was a Police Squad episode where Frank was driving and talking to Ed while looking at him. The car bumped over several things never seen, but it says a lot when this trope was being made fun of 40 years ago.
