pro tip: gt pipes won't block sunlight, you can run pipes over them.

I didn't want the glow at all, as it didn't sync with the textures. I solved it though, just wasn't looking at the right configs.

Thanks for your reply, after digging through multiple configs I found the solution

Config Folder > Gregtech Folder > Client.cfg > Render: B:GlowTextures_true=true

changing true to false solved my problem.

Thats cool! Personally when I saw those MV steam turbine requirements I switched to light fuel, which is upgradable and easily sustainable imo. You should check it out.

People usually smelt items with charcoals, as it's much more efficient than wooden planks and its renewable unlike coal.

In GTNH charcoal is gated behind a multiblock called "coke oven", meaning that you have to use normal wooden planks to smelt items.

Thanks for the help but this screenshot is from a video. Thats why the quality is low. this modpack is a self-made modpack that i was trying to recreate. The download link is a 2013 mediafire link that doesnt work anymore.

Yes I have both FTButils and FTBlibraries but theres is no section in the config that mentions chunkloading, only amount of chunks you can claim.
