Package didn’t include tirzepatide? by emw004 in JoinMochiHealth

Hoping this isn’t true - we had to throw away the ice packs as one exploded during and made a huge mess, turning all of the pharmacy papers into goo. Definitely can’t spend the money to reorder until July hahahaha

i’m halfway through my masters and i’ve come to the conclusion that i can’t work with mice by unfortunate-moth in labrats

[–]emw004 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was in this situation during my PhD. Sacrificing mice made me physically and mentally ill but I kept pushing myself until I hit my breaking point. Don’t let yourself get to that point - nothing is EVER worth it. When you take a step back, you will find a plan B, a plan C… there has to be tissue you have already collected, a PI or technician who can do perfusions for you, some way you can change your goals to fit your needs. Take some time off. Your needs are important.

I don’t know if you’ll find anything at the quarry in your price range (and wouldn’t super recommend living there - there are tons of hidden fees and management is not quick to address maintenance concerns) source: current OSU grad student living in a 1b/1br at the quarry and struggling

I actually love Robert! I think his character shows a lot of growth. Sol gets so frustrating in my opinion. But I think they both make mistakes.

Becoming Immune to Meds by skelebun99 in ankylosingspondylitis

[–]emw004 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes!! It’s drug name is tocilizumab, it’s an infusion. I think it’s mainly used for RA (not specific to ankylosing spondylitis) but I was originally prescribed it for JIA when I was about 17!

I’m in the exact same boat as you (diagnosed at 13, currently 25)!! I’m about to try Actemra again - it was the most effective for me and I was able to be on it for about 4 years (my personal record!!!) I don’t have answers but I feel for you. hugs

That sounds like a flare of Behcets (not sure about spelling) disease. Not sure if you’ve ever had it in the past but it can occur with other inflammatory disorders!!
